Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

Innocenti,
wow, you have one of those super rare cabby vespas from the Pickers show!
Nice bikes!
Hey did yo happen to get a detail shot of the actual chain? I wonder if it is a diamond or a KMC chain?
Thanks

No, on the chain. I totally choked when it came to the photos. My wife was not pleased to be dragged to the museum, the 2 year old was sleeping on her shoulder and the 4 year old was terrorizing and about the pee his pants at the same time. I lost my wits on what to photograph and they had lectured us not to use flash photography. I complied with most of my pics and you can't see a thing. Sorry

Im pretty sure they were just plain gold links... there werent diamonds on them. I took pics of the chain the second time i went back to look at the hollywood bike but they are blurry... My camera kept focusing on the chaingaurd.

Can anyone tell me what kind of nozzle is on the saddle bags, I'm working with many local businesses to build my bike, I'm striving to add the features of the spraying water as well as the fog.

I also need your help on clearing up that the "soccer Mickey Mouse" bell was used in the movie.

The soccer Mickey mouse bell is on the promo pics, the robin hood mickey is on the Hollywood muesum bike, I'd have to check all my screen caps to see it in the movie (just checked see below), I think there is like on shot it it.
There are some spray fittings like those in Mcmaster carr catalog here McMaster-Carr

you can see the yellow and green of the mickey in the shot where the bike is on the snow, on the scene where he's cleaning the bike you can tell the shape of the bell and the button style- here is the style I'm using.

Hi folks!

Just for clarification purposes, the image on the above bell is NOT Robin Hood Mickey, but rather Brave Little Tailor Mickey Mouse from the 1938 Animated short "Brave Little Tailor".

=Frank=

Hey Thanks Frank! totally makes sense, though there are two versions and all green clothed Mickey and an yellow top, green pants mickey.

I'm using these if I add that detail "Wide-Angle Deflected Flat Spray Nozzles"- either 30995K38 or 30995K37

(y)thumbsup:thumbsupThanks for posting the show!

It would be cool to show up with a tribute vintage bike ride...:love

Even cooler to show up with a tight replica, but I think someone will show up with a cruiser that is red and just has some similar parts and get the same reaction.

I'll post my progress in a bit.

So here is my update
I'm sculpting the left side bag tomorrow, I have the right roughed out, I need to cut in the ribs.
I need to glaze my top rear bag and water sand it, I've made a plywood base, add hinges to the top rear bag door.

The saddlebag is hard to shoot- the shape is based on a lot screen caps vs the Hollywood museum bike and the BMoA bike.

I have also made the brackets for the center skirt and have some center skirt parts.

My center skirt is plastic- the bars will be the same type of plastic.
Just moving along
