Pee-Wee's Big Adventure Bike

Gregg, the sound rig on the tank worked out great.

Still a bit far out on mine since I need to get the tank powdered first, but I can't wait to try it out. I think the dueling tanks gimmick is going to be awesome. Speaking of, more pics soon. Been busy.

Did anyone on here ever make a sticker or decal of the yellow shirt mickey mouse? I got another nos bell but it has the wrong mickey. Lmk if you have one for sale.

"I got another nos bell but it has the wrong mickey."

Which one do you have? There are two correct Mickey bells. The other one is him kicking a soccer ball. That one can be seen on the bike that appeared in the press kit photo.

That's true. I have a soccer bell and a green shirt bell. I never got around to making it a yellow shirt. The image is posted somewhere in the thread though, lol.

It's cool

I been busy! I got to meet Abe, super cool dude. Got a tiger siren from him, I painted it the next day and it came out decent for my first time painting a siren. 20140914_184259.jpg

Next I made some skirt guards20140923_091605.jpg

Last I took Abes advice to weld little screws to the chain guard pieces so I can just bolt them on after paint.20140923_091449.jpg

I drilled a hole in the center of the popsicle pieces, welded a 6-32 bolt and then drilled a hole through the surfboard looking piece and the guard. The popsicle pieces act like a bolt going through all the pieces holding them on place with tiny nuts on the back side of the guard

Yessir, I had an extra guard so I wanted to try it. Works great!

Finally got the fork off the other bike.

Unfortunately the steering tube is too short. It's about 1/4" off so I have to either trade or buy a new one. :wacko

Well that stinks :(

I wanted to let everyone know that I sold out of my first batch of tiger sirens and I just got new resin in if anyone needs one. I'll go ahead and pour a bunch up so there is no waiting.

Gregg

Droidboy How did you do the chrome on your saddle bags? I cut 2mm strips and it took forever and now they are all coming off. Your bike looks GREAT!! Nice job. That tiger siren mount looks top notch as well.

Joe

2mm strips might be a little thinner than necessary, but that's up to you. Because of the curves you probably want to use some extra adhesive on it. 3M Super 77 spray adhesive is a good choice.

I had mine chrome plated with Spectrachrome. I'll see if I have some nice close ups of the real bags and how they did it.

Here are a couple pics of a screen used bike. I'm pretty sure when they put the tape on they used the entire width of the tape.
