Papercraft Samaritan

Seems like it'd be pretty fun, either way! Styrene would last longer. A bit more work, but at least you wouldn't have to worry about it getting wet. :lol

If you use resin over the paper it will hold up even if it gets a little wet.

Might also try Minwax Wood Hardener. It's meant for rotted wood, but I've used it on MDF to seal it and make it stronger and less porous. As the hideous, toxic fumes of the liquid evaporate, it leaves behind a strong material that fills up the cells of the material, making it more destruction-resistant.

I don't think it would make a paper prop really, really strong, but I'm sure it would help a lot. I don't know what it would do to the ink. Probably blur it, but I don't know.

These are really large sheets to print out...how are you guys printing them out? Kinkos? And what type of paper works best for these things? I would imagine a heavier stock. Whats a good glue to use?
Thanks :)

Staples has a great cover stock that handles laser printing very well, has some decent rigidity and is porous enough to glue quickly with plain ol' Elmers.

Tabloid size 100 sheets for about $13, I believe.
