I've had this happen a few times now and thought I'd ask about it here.
I have a plastic item that I dyed black using the "boiling RIT dye" method.
I then gave it layers of dry brushing, followed by 3 or 4 coats of Krylon acrylic sealer. A few hours later I notice dark "splotches" in various areas. So I drybrush again, get rid of the spots and re-seal, only to have the same thing happen all over again.
Any ideas on what's causing this? Is the dye bleeding through? Is there some sort of reaction between the paint/sealer?
