Pacific Rim Chuck Hansen jacket

Ok. I have been searching for days and I really need help. I have been trying to find the closest possible jacket to Chuck Hansens in the movie that I can possibly get. I have found a few that are close-ish but I'm a perfectionist so I want it close enough so I won't have to do too many alterations (if it doesn't have a fur collar no biggie, thats a quick fix!). I wasn't sure if it was horsehide, goatskin, or cowhide. I am even ok with distressing it myself I am just desperate to find the jacket itself! I think it looks like horsehide but I'm not 100% on that. I also don't know what kind of bomber jacket it is. It kinda looks like a vintage aviator jacket but there are some vintage motorcycle jackets that look like that as well. What I am most concerned about finding in one is the length, how the zipper doesn't go the whole way down, and the pockets. I was also wondering if anyone knew where to get the kaiju kill count stencil? I have only found patches but in the movie Chucks jacket has them painted on with a stencil. If anyone can help me I will love you forever! Thank you ahead of time!

Glad to see another Striker Eureka fan here. Based on the rough look of the material, it looks like cow hide. As for the Kaiju kill marks, most people either freehanded them, or glued them on directly. I think your best bet is to free hand it or make a stencil of your own. I spent about a billion years trying to figure out what his jacket is. In the end I just settled for a vintage leather jacket I found in a thrift store and then modded the hell out of it. Important things to remember are the zip front, split colour lining (orange quilted top, brown brushed cotton bottom), the insignia pin, Striker logo on the arm and the kill counts. There's also a belt piece on the back which is important to remember if you can. As for kill count, get a vector off google and make a stencil. You;ll want to scale it depending on the size of your jacket back so it's really the best way. Hope that helps at all.
