well started the details.

the top of the head is pretty much done, and the shape is final.

as you can see the 1st run of detail is done on the rear of the head. need to knock it back some and do some fine stuff, then just finish off the left cheak area.

I see this on my next suit! It looks like it would be so much fun painting it!

Mold it in fiberglass! MAKE IT OUT OF SILICONE PWEEEAAASE!!!!

PS. What type of clay is this again? Chavant?

I really wish Lee would just sack up and mold in silicone, THEN mold in fiberglass. At that point, he'd have so many options...

You can pull silicone from Stone moulds Gene. just best to pull the silicone pulls before amonia gets into the plaster from the latex pulls, having said that i do not see why you could not coat the inside of a stone mould with a soap or something after latex pulls, to stop the amonia effecting the cure of the silicone.

I actually think ive sacked up enough with my silicone trials, i think its about time someone else improved on what i started, dont ya think

Oh, it's not about that, it's about being able to pour clay back into the silicone mold and then coming up with a new Pred design based on a P2 (Saving time). Can't do that with stone, though resins would be neato. Come on, Lee, you know you want a resin! You could make clear ones, put LEDs in them and then scatter them around the yard,

No, no, no, it's called time efficiency. It's the same reason software is BUILT on old versions, why science is BUILT on previous work, car engines are designed around existing knowns, hell I have yet to meet a production architect who doesn't start with existing stuff. No sense in reinventing the wheel. It's about taking something in a new direction and not getting all bogged down and frustrated redoing the same damn form. Hell, shave off all the details, but why waste the time rebuilding the form? Get to the juicy! Damn it, Lee, one of these days you'll sculpt an original concept hidden deep within that humble-ass head of yours and you know it's gonna somehow relate to P2

Its efficient if you want to bang something out quick for money maybe.

Not and never will be what im here for, id rather have the plessure of knowing i created from scratch personally, and i am in no rush anyway.

time scale for me has always been , it will be done............. when its done.


No custom sculpts for me i do not think, i see maybe a female pred and a elder, then thats it unless another film comes out.
