Original Stormtrooper Helmet

I agree, the ANH parts look like the read deal, i´m not sure about the other parts though...

The listed price is ridiculous and i also expect the suit to surpass the price by far, just remember the last auctioned helmets.
After all it´s still STAR WARS and not some third-class sci-fi flick!
If only i had the money...

Gino, when were you at the archives? And who was your host?

I am surprised you were allowed to "handle" whatever you wanted. That is not allowed, even for very senior LFL members! I saw many original trooper helmets there. Some in pretty bad shape. Others were recognizable from which movie they came from.

I actually just got back from the Ranch and was in the archives. You could spend all day in there just looking at the Vader helmets. Rules were different than what you describe. Not that it's incorrect, just sayin'.

EDIT: Nothing nefarious meant by my post. Just offered to help clear up any misunderstandings. Carry on folks...

It really may depend on who lets you in there -

When I worked at ILM back in the day (Mid 1980's) one of my jobs was to run things back and forth to the storage building (before it was called "The Archives" ) they would just hand me the keys and the alarm code, and send me on my way. It was really hard not to spend a lot of time looking through all the stuff, after all, I was supposed to be working.
My favorite was the full size land speeder, I used to sit in it sometimes during my lunch break.

There was some home movie footage online inside the archive showing some guys on a tour handling the props and even trying a helmet on. From the old archive.

The new archive is a lot stricter.
