Orellana Golden Mask Replica Development

Hi to all

I am a new member to RPF. I kept missing registration last year for one reason or another. Finally I'm in!

I have however been a member of Club Obi Wan for a while now. Indy is my collecting passion.

Thought you guys might like to take a look at the development of a replica of the golden mask of Orellana from Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, that myself and a friend are currently working on.

The final mask will be cast in resin with bronze or iron powder to add weight. It will then be painted and aged to match the screen used prop.

I will continue to update you as we progress. We are nearing completion of the sculpt now and will begin to mold and cast out ready for clean-up and deco.

Thought you all might like to see the latest progress shots.

The sculpt is almost complete with some minor tidying up to be done. It will then be molded to be cast out, cleaned up and painted.

I am real pleased with how this has turned out.

The final sculpt for the Mask of Orellana has been finished.

It will be put into mold later today/tomorrow.
