Ok, I have the denix broom handle mauser...

But where do I find the parts to make a ANH Solo blaster.
Some of the kits I have found online are just way too expensive.
It would be cheeper to just buy one completed then to do it yourself.
Does anyone have any ideas or contacts?

I'm pretty sure blasttech might also offer a discount to RPF members, but I'm not 100% sure.

Blast Tech kits are ok, but I've managed to get real scopes, and much better parts made by talented RPF members for about the same price as the Blast Tech kits.

In the end you need to ask yourself: Do you want a quick fix or do you want quality, and screen accuracy.

John at Blast-tech has great service and very quick turn around time.

You can go more accurate, sure. For starters, John doesn't offer a bull barrel section for the Han A New Hope hero version. Though it isn't difficult to scratch build a decent version. Also, there have been more recent discoveries since much of John's stuff was designed. Though, you can still make a mighty fine blaster from Blast-tech gear. Once you get it finished, you can always upgrade it later if anything starts bugging you.

If you want to scratch build it, you might want to register at the forum in my signature and ask for advice there. I know we have info there about how to scratch make the M19 scope for the ESB version.

So I guess my next question is who is selling or making ANH
parts? I have been to the blast-tech site, and the items are ok.
But for the price I want a little more. Like I said before I could
buy one completed for what I would pay for all the parts, and I
would still have to do all the painting, sanding, drilling.

I guess I will be buying the pieces one at a time, maybe starting with the
front grill?

Vince (Corellianexports) just finished a grill and mount run. Not sure if he has any mounts left but I think he has some grills left.

Yeah I saw those. They are very nice, but are GK (alternate blaster) parts.
I'm trying to build the hero version.
