Hi David thanks for getting back to me, as with the last post im 6ft, chest is 43", waist 34", tip of shoulder to shoulder from the back is 20" and sleeve length is 23". From the sizing chart on the ud site my measurements vary from L to M to S. Would I be better with a medium and if so can my order be changed?

Hey bud,
OK so...you need a LARGE jacket.
Here's why...
Chest Around is 43". Add 2" = 45"
Waist measurement is 34". Add 2" = 36"

On those 2 measurements alone you're a very snug Medium jacket...but look at the shoulders...
Shoulder to Shoulder is 20".
That's the same as my Medium jacket, so there's no way it'll fit you if MY medium jacket has the same dims as your body. End result is simple, you need a LARGE jacket. Sleeves work out too at that size.

Sleeve is 23" - Noted, not necessary for sizing purposes.

There's you go bud. Sorry for the late reply....you 'shouldn't' need to post on a forum to get prompt responses but with our current wave of daily emails it's taking me a while to get through them all. Even more than usual....but what's important is you've got your RINZLER jacket size now!

We are still in production with the RINZLER/TRON suits. The deadline for shipping them out is end of June 2012 and because this is the first wave of production on these sold goods....we're taking our time. We wont run past the due date, but I'll need the rest of the time on the proposed delivery date to finish them up. :thumbsup
In a word, they're GORGEOUS! I can't wait until you all start receiving them...:cool

These photos are of actual production pieces. :love

The current images on the website (which are going to be swapped out with these shortly) are of the first prototype Sam suit...and as such it was not 100% in the proportions and fit.

What you're seeing here now, are actual production pieces regularly being shipped to waiting customers. Other than a better fit over all, no detail or design change was made.

My User! Those are some great pics of the suit. Still the coolest suit that UD makes in my opinion, but I am a bit biased. Haha

So glad that I'm getting the full suit.
As for my XS Sam Flynn jacket I'm looking at possibly mounting it in a shadow box (much like signed jerseys) with a plaque or info card for a museum type display. Yet still allow it to be taken out and worn for costuming if need be.

Oh and one detail that I love on the boots is that the Player "3" number is on the back of the right boot. Something I didn't even notice in the movie until my 10th viewing. Haha

Very nice although I think I prefer the rinzler/tron jacket, a little more subtle than the Sam Flynn jacket!
Quick question though, after these runs have ended do ud replicas have any plans to make any other jackets from tron?

I have no bike and yet find myself having 3 jackets and a set of pants/boots and gloves. Haha
I'm still wanting to shadow-box frame one of my Sam Flynn jackets for year-round display. These suits are worth every penny!

i think the orders have closed for the sam flynn jacket dude,which is a shame as i would have ordered one but i want to see how my rinzler jacket fits before i buy!

cheers, i spoke to Dave this past week and he said he would keep the orders going for more days until he was able to get the payment plans live on he site. hopefully he is still able to do that. i want the samm jacket bad for my bike lol

Even though the dates on the site show that sales have closed...I'm still allowing orders to come in for a few more days. We're enabling the Payment Plans based on our earlier shopping cart...the one you've all used already, and our hope is that today they'll be live...hoping.

We have a totally new cart that was custom made for us...which is the cause of the delay in the payment plans, so in the meantime we're working as fast as we can to get the original ones up and running. Once the new cart is good to go, we'll switch it over.

So sorry for this delay guys....but we're working to make you all happy.cool

I also ordered a Jacket and Gloves only, but in the reflective white of Tron.

I'm considering down the road adding the Rinzler version to the collection as well down the road.

Please forgive me, but im "new" to RPF...
but i spent the last # of days reviewing all the threads related to UD Replicas & youtube related too...
Anyways, i have a FEW inquires & questions for David about the Sam Flynn legacy suits.

To start, i plan to take FULL advantage of the motorcycle aspect...
So i want to "factor in" the COMFORT level, from a biker's point of view...

Any advice would be "useful at this point" for me because,
the MAIN factor that is troubling me, is deciding between the XXS & the XS
i stand 5'11 & weight 140lbs (making me pretty slim indeed)
35" Chest (36" deep breath) 32" Bottom, 23" sleeves, 19" shoulders, ? Back

Another question relates to the Padding comfort/safety
i understand they are CE3 certified, but are they the cushion or hard plastic type?

Next is about the inner lining
Does the inner lining cover the ENTIRE inside or it more like a V type?
...and does it have pockets inside the jacket?
