thanks for that update very impressed with the overall quality of these suits, cant wait to try one on a bike, i shot you an email also a couple of days ago about ordering as the date had passed but no need to reply now, i shall get my measurements done and put an order in also :love

Wouldn't mind going over my measurements aswell however i will need to email i think as im in Australia.

Hopefully you decide to do another run of the Sam suits as i would love to purchase a full setup aswell, didn't come across them till now :cry

I'm sure he would have had I asked him....I just didn't want to be 'that guy'. :$

They all showed up in my booth out of no where...started freaking out over all the goods and asked to try on the Tron Legacy line. To be honest, I was just thrilled by their genuine appreciation of the goods, and probably a little overwhelmed by the crowd that suddenly appeared with a bazillion camera flashes going off - all at the same time. :lol

They were great...obviously fans of the genre as a whole, and they were VERY appreciative of the goods we had there in the booth...but the TRON LEGACY line seemed to really get their attention. I just didn't feel 'right' about jabbing for other jackets to be worn when they seemed really interested in just walking the show floor and checking everything else out. :thumbsup

As of right now the Tron: Legacy goods for Q1 orders haven't started Shipping yet. As per the website: They start shipping in 3rd Quarter (July-August-September)

David had mentioned that the sizing is a bit different from the Sam Flynn suit so your best bet is take your measurements and give him a call to make sure you get the right size.

ALL Q1 Tron Legacy goods HAVE shipped out. They did so by end of March.
Rinzler is for Q2, April-May-June...which is what we're working on now.

As production winds down, we'll have updates regarding delivery...but we're not quite there yet.

Thanks for the clarification David. I should have been more precise and said it was the Rinzler/Tron suits getting ready for Q3 shipping.

I will most likely be calling next week about sizing on Sam pants and boots. I know what larger size jacket I need since I already have the XS.

Hey David,
I tried calling earlier and left a message but I thought I might get some help here as well with the sizing.

I'm going to be ordering the Sam Flynn jacket, pants and boots and only have sizing questions with the pants and boots. (since I already have a XS jacket that fits perfectly for costuming, i'm getting a M to wear casually.)

Here are my taken measurements going by listing requirements of the size chart for the Sam Flynn

Pants

-Pant (side length) - 40"
-Inseam - 32"
-Hip (full around) - 40"
-Knee (full around) - 16"
-Ankle Cuff (full around) - 10"
-Waist (full around) - 37"

From the size listings for the Sam, it puts me in the range of the Medium size pants.

Boots

Now the boots I wasn't exactly sure how to measure my foot. These are my foot measurements that I did get:

foot length - 11"
foot width - 10"



I might go by a shoe store and use one of their measurement devices to get it spot on. But since I wear a 10 1/2 US I was prolly going to go with the Large (11 US)

Any input would be appreciated, feel free to PM me if needed. Really wanted to put in the suit order to have peace of mind. haha Even though I know I have till the end of the month.

I ordered my rinzler jacket last year and have been told that it will ship at the end of June. I was hoping to have it before orders for the Sam Flyn jacket close as I've been hearing that people are having problems with the size of the jackets and I was planning to get a sf jacket too. Normally I am between a medium and a large but decided to order a large jacket. Looking at the size chart on the ud replicas site I am thinking I should have probably gone for a medium. I emailed ud 4 times before they eventually replied that I couldn't change the size. However having read the posts on the Sam Flynn jacket I saw a chap who sounds like he is roughly the same size and build as me had trouble getting his arm and shoulders into the large.
So has anyone gotten their rinzler jacket yet and could give me advice regarding the size? Also if anyone has the Sam Flynn jacket, what size would you recommend I get? I am 6ft tall, 42" chest and 34" waist

Dredd1981, I might be able to help you out as I am almost the same size as the measurements you gave. I actually fit a XS for costuming. It fits skin tight and cannot be worn with the armor installed. (sleeves are too short by about 1 1/2 inches, but I knew it would be like that)
I am going to be ordering another jacket and am going up to a Medium so it will fit more comfortably. I wouldn't go bigger than that myself as I don't want to get lost in the jacket. Haha.

I also ordered a Rinzler/Tron and if I remember correctly I ordered a medium there as well to fit me comfortably but not overly tight.

If you are getting the Large you should be fine tho. It might fit you like a normal Jacket even with the armor. I will say that the earlier jackets were a thicker/stiffer leather and were a bit difficult to move around in. The last batch they were using a much softer pliable leather that is more forgiving.
