Re: Officially Licensed: Marvel Comics - Motorcycle Suits and Accessories
Thanks everyone!
It's great to see that different Marvel characters or properties there are being suggested...comments like that help to solidify our current or future plans for which 'movie replica' motorcycle suit design to proceed with.
Very awesome of you all for chiming in.
We started with WB, added Disney and now with Marvel we feel that with the kind of product we produce, all 3 of these properties will help us to bring something to life for everyone...exciting times ahead!
Hey Guntha,
In the case of the Dark Knight, it wasn't a 'muscle padded' motorcycle suit but rather instead of it being a 'rubber' suit...we engineered that whole look and produced it using leather and real kevlar where all the sculpted rubber components were present on the actual screen used suit. Those armored areas were made just like the real suit, but out of leather instead.
Case in point, someone mentioned DareDevil....in the event that we were to produce such a suit we'd certainly include the formed muscle groups just as they were on the real suit. Even though our end product is a motorcycle suit...anything we replicate from the films must also respectfully replicate the overall look down to the most insignificant of details. I think we'll all agree that attention to detail for things of this nature will ultimately make them worthy of the terms 'screen accurate replica'. Any suit that has any kind of muscle group as part of that screen used suit is considered an important detail and one that we will most certainly include.
Once again, these are not costumes. We're going to replicate various movie suits so yes the will look exactly like what was seen on screen but their overall purpose and end use is for motorcycle wear.
I hope that clarifies this some.
Oh and I love your sig banner. :thumbsup
Hi Dex,
Yes it is in fact sold out, sorry. We only expected to do ONE run of these but the popularity of this article and numerous requests after the first sales had closed lead to a second release. I had no plans for that second release initially, and now with Wave II almost ready to go live, our focus will be on Batman Begins. That said, if you liked TDK Batman Motorcycle Suit then you're going to LOVE what we have in store next with Batman Begins.
As of today we're still getting a lot of requests to purchase TDK Batman Motorcycle suit...but it is time to focus on the next wave of goods.
If there was a bar somewhere for TDK Batman Motorcycle suit...then I can promise that we worked very hard to raise it to a whole other extreme for Batman Begins. A lot is going to happen in the next few weeks so keep an eye on the website.

I want to get excited over this, but if we are only talking about muscle-padded jackets and pants, like the Dark knight motorcycle suit, then I wouldn't be able to use them. Now, costuming or movie style Wolverine battle jacket/pants without muscle padding, then I'd be all over it. Sit and wait, I guess.

I noticed that the batman suit is sold out, how many did you make and will you be offering it again?
Nothing seems to be for sale?
