youre better off negotianting with sneakerahead
unless those sellers give you good warranties

Best thing to do is buy them from sneakerhead and ask for broken ones and fix them. I got mine for $200 and just one El panel was not working, the other shoe worked just fine! Mine still work great and I paid a fraction of the price.

They were listed at $709, yet they were prepared to sell me a pair for $499 after a few emails back and forth.

No harm in asking for a discount.

I might just have to do that for a pair of 7s for display. Because I will remove the soles anyway, so might be able to change out batteries or panels whilst I have shoes apart.

Apparently US7 and US8 are the same size with a different tag inside. The smallest size of the V1 and V2 was also an 8.

$4.50 per Square inch? Not bad if you can find the paint. Imagine EL panels on MAGs, done in this. Apart from the risk of wire breaks, the panels would be water proof.

Has anyone got the other blue print for the Nike MAG?
This is kind of cool becsuse it is based on the patent Nike filed.

Might get this printed and laminated for part of my display.

The file was small at 800 x 600 pixels. Like in Marty's October 21, right now, it's pouring rain, so might give wearing the MAGs a miss.
