There's some wonkyness on the "barrel" I don't like. The photography really shows stuff off I can't see with my naked eyes.

Thanks. It'a amazing what you can get accomplished in 10 45 minute bursts. It's a new rule of mine to get ANY kind of progress every day. If I can't actually build I find time to CAD out the info for when I can put stuff together.

I wish I had a laser cutter at home.

I've seen more scratch builds over the years that I can remember, but this is honestly, one of the most impressive I have ever encountered. If this thing gets kitted, I don't care if it's $500: I will be buying one even if I have to sell a kidney.
