Hi there, does anyone know where you get the Declaration of Independence from the National Treasure film? I have just ordered the tube from the film now just need the insert for it!!!!

You may also want to try your hand printing your own. The National Archives has hi rez, full size scans on their website.

The actual National Archives has a store where they have the real Declaration is on displayed. I picked up my copy from there. But there is one fact that is incorrect about the copies they sell: It is not $19.95. It's really $9.95. The picture below is the one I got.

Any thoughts on what type of paper the DOI should be printed on to make it look screen accurate?

A heavy weight vellum would be my guess, but I'm really not sure what they actually used in the film. Obviously in real life the Declaration looks almost nothing like the film prop and I don't think it would be anywhere near as pliable.
