BTW, as I replied to USS Endeav on ASAP, I've bought things from both Capt JTK and Dennis Stines in the last month, and they originated from different places, different packaging material, different mailing label program. I'm still skeptical that "Dennis controls them both."
The claims alleged here are a lesson for one and all. Do you wait years for products that you've paid for? Do you know what the statue of limitations on mail fraud is? Do you know which law enforcement agency to file a complaint with? Do you know how long you have to make a chargeback on your credit card until your bank won't accept your request? If you give someone months, or years, to comply with non-delivery, you may have a :cry in store.

He posted at mine too. As did Cap JTK from ASAP. Sounds all good all around. C JTK's ip did not match anything I had for Stines, though my Stines info is a little dated.
It would be nice if he'd updated all the places where he made the accusations...

Since this is being brought forward again...I'll provide the follow up.
Dennis and I spoke about what happened...and resolved it to our mutual satisfaction.
As I had stated earlier, I had always considered him a friend and in speaking with him
discovered he did the same. Did things get more entangled than needed? Yes but in the end, if the people involved work through the problem maturely and responsibly then I see no issue. The lesson I learned is mine, others may disagree with how I chose to handle the situation or how I chose to find a solution. I respect that but I doubt anyone could find fault in a solution where there is no injury not healed with an apology and old friendships are restored. I learned a lot from Dennis at a time when other prominent names in the prop community treated information like a commodity traded only for better information or if they liked you.
I will be happy to update everyone's forums...just need to find the links and remember my passwords.

I received a combination of product and a refund for what he no longer had.
But I reiterate, having someone whose opinion, knowledge and friendship I valued back again is more important. More than the money was the personal injury over having lost a close friend.
There is a line from an old song that goes something like "Understand that friends come and go, but for a precious few you should hold on to..." and I
always felt he was one of the few.

I have to applaud the patience here. I do however think it seems misplaced.
If what you are saying is true, then this man took you for 4000 dollars.
Then refused to communicate for 4 years.
Then only chose to resolve things once you went public.

Weequay, you have forgotten the one overriding factor in your equation. Toss in "BUT said person may have cool stuff in the future that I will want to buy" and all previous points are rendered useless.
