I guess I have a soft spot for Dennis, at the time I was getting into props, I knew absolutly nothing, I mean nada, zip zilch. I couldn't tell the difference between a COA and
the IOA (ok, thats a joke). I came onto the ASAP scene and made a few blunders that didn't go over well with a lot of people and being the defensive person I can, I fired back blindly without thinking. Dennis was the only person to not care what the forum opinion was and to sell to me. This was a big deal for me at the time because I was a buyer with no seller. Over the years, he shared knowledge and teqnique with me that has helped me expand what I know and feel comfortable doing. Some weeks ago I dropped the newly painted OEM spolier I bought for my car, cracked the edge and of course ruined the paint. If not for what I learned working with props and having Dolphin Glaze handy, I would have had to shell out $300 to fix it.
I thought of him as a friend. I have pictures of me and my wife sitting in his Bat Mobile
after driving to MD to meet with him. I didn't do that because I thought of him only as a supplier of parts. Not once have I had dinner with my local Honda parts person and I buy from him on a regular basis as well.
I hope very much he restores my faith in our friendship, I really do but if not....
I prefer to keep thinking positive....I am borderline Type II hypertensive and I'm
not interested in crossing the threshold.
