Well done lads, its good to see guys on here getting a piece of the dream.

Ive bottled it lol, its too much to put on my card, just cant justify no matter how long ive wanted them, and, at the end of the day, i WANT then for wear, not show....and thats just stupid.

Do us all a favor though, post a pic with these wonders on feet if you can, maybe just on carpet lol, and i hope a few of you wear skinny jeans, 'cos baggies blow LOL.

Speaking of ebay auctions can anyone believe this? The Miraj hat is up to 325... I bought mine for $50 but I'd never sell it. Its crazy, is this all because of those shoes you reckon? eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices

I would think the caps are up because of the shoes. Even though I already own one, I've been casually looking online for a while now just to try and snag a spare. For at least the past year, I've only seen one or two crop up, usually with an astronomical BIN price. Then the 2011 McFly's make their debut, and all of a sudden everyone's dropping their hats.

One guy sold one last night for only $70 plus shipping, which is interesting considering the 3-figure sum the remaining ones are fetching right now.

Im happy I chose the size 8.
I wear an 8.5 and SHOULD be able to fit in them BUT MJF did wear an 8 in the movie so they should be as accurate as can be.
I will be making an epic "unboxing" video when they arrive!!

How do you want to know that the original shoes were size 8?

I'm the same height and build as Michael J Fox and wear a size 7 shoes. Not sure what his exact shoe size is but I can't imagine them making anything bigger than 8 or 8.5 shoe for him for the film. Anything bigger I'd imagine would feel to loose and floppy.

How can a woman give a man s-h-*-t for buying SHOES??? I mean, seriously...

He buys ONE pair for $3000, she probably has 100 pairs that cost at least $30 each... That should be fair, right? lol:lol

MJ Fox is a pretty small dude and I read somewhere a while ago that the shoes were a size 8. Maybe Desi from ScreenUsed.com or someone with more knowlege on this could chime in - Gary might also know as well.
Sure, I'd LOVE to wear these around - but even if the shoes were $500 would you STILL want to risk ruining them?
If/when a knock-off pair is produced, I will be buying those to wear - until then, my Mark Poon pair is perfect for costuming in.

It's funny, years ago when I first starting to research the Hoverboard I would try and judge the size based on that part when Marty is running up the steps right after the scene where he jumps in the water - it looks huge in his hand! Then when I found out how short and tiny he was it all made more sense when I discovered the real dimensions for the board.

I tried my best not to tell a bunch of people at work today about me buying the shoes - most won't understand why so much money would be spent on a pair of shoes.
I did however share it with my stage manager since he is in the hobby of vintage sports card buying and selling and understands high price tags in a hobby like this.

I used to own one of the original screenused shoes, worn by MJF and still have all the exact measurements and they were definitely not a size 8.
Max. would be a size 7. MJF has very tiny feet. My bet is that the size 7 shoes in the auction are a 1:1 replica (size wise) of the original shoes. They may even casted parts of an original pair. They did a great job on those replicas. They look 99.9% correct. Would be very interesting to have exact dimensions of a size 7 shoe.
