I used acetone.. worked fine.. just be very careful with it.. might discolor the fabric... i used it to take offf the old paint and some excess glue after i did the hair dryer

Me: Just to make 100% sure, can you verify that they do in fact come with the NIKE swoosh and AIR MAG letters on the back? The last order I made with another seller sent me a picture saying they were the NIKE version and then sent me the pair without any logos and the words "sport" on the strap. I DO NOT want the pair that has no logos and sport on the strap. I want to make sure the pair I am buying and receiving are the pair in the picture I attached with the Swoosh, Air Mag on the back, and NIKE on the non lighting strap. Thank you again and sorry for the trouble.

Good luck stprime. I think if I got that 'sport' version I might try my hand at making a new upper above the velcro strap... if I could find the right type of grey material from a shop, always wanted to try bending the cloth around a thin plastic support and gluing it at the back, so it's more like the RD and the stitching all hidden. Had a partial success with the prototype 'wing' I did ages ago for that idea but the foam I had lying around was too thick and the cloth not stretchy enough.
Then again, the V2's may be coming down in price with the new version around the corner. Remember that the model is a few years old now. I think some of us early adopters got them back in 2012 or something, I know there's a few of us who've had some since they were first released.

A few of us are thinking of buying the new version (which nobody has pics of yet) and having Jedifyfe compare them to the V2 and RD since he has both and a lot of knowledge.
The shoes are $700 and are supposed to represent the RD closely. The more people the better because it's a gamble on 1 if they come at all 2 if they truly are like the RD or not. So if we can get enough people where every can put in 30 to 40$ instead of someone having to drop 700$ some of us figure it to be well worth the price just to see what they have and also eliminate most of the risk.
The shoes would then be purchased bye 1 of the contributors and money refunded to everyone else (again if they actually show up). Then we'd all know what we were looking at and if they are worth the price of admission.
And if they are garbage then your out 30 to 40$

It hasn't happened yet. We're waiting on a cheaper pair of shoes to be delivered to another member before we go ahead. Trying our best to not waste time and money.

Hi, Do any of you know if this is a sport or if it has nike sign because it almost absolutely looks like the nike sign has been photoshopped off. Anyways, This looks like a good mag and is 40 dollars cheaper than normal (200 dollars) because it is 160 dollars. My main problem is I want nike sign and I don't want to be ripped off and the good price tag seems a little sketchy but the fact that it doesn't come with a box is probably why. Those look like the v2 and HC hybrid ones, anyone else feel the same way??.. since they photoshopped the swoosh it will probably have it.. you should ask for actual pics of them

Yea i thought theyre v2.. but they seem kind of short like the HC shoes.. so i was torn lol.. since theyve been doing some hybrid ones..
