I'm thinking about grabbing a pair of V2s also. Which seller are you going to go with?
Don't know yet I might have to hold off on the v2s for a few months I need to upgrade my editing rig and that's going to be at least 400 bucks still praying for airair shoes to take off lol

Mine are superglued. Providing you can get a good contact, they don't let go.
I found that you need to work in stages by aligning the wings up on the inside first edge first. You will notice that the cutout is slightly OS and the sole wants to bend a slight bit, so the tread will curve ever so slight with the shoe. That happens because these soles were made from a larger (US13) size.
All I really did was to I trim out the hollow at the front and the funny little section on the back and they fit right in. Keep checking the alignment of the big outer wing too as you go. The back outer corner is the trickiest part.
I've done this twice now and the first time, I had a gap, but the 2nd time, it pulled in nice.
I might have to make a HD video showing all the angles we don't normally see here.

How was the communication with this other seller? Karin was very good at answering questions. I don't she sells these anymore though.

Tried out the Rit dye on my soles last night, not sure if I was doing it right...perhaps there was too much water or something but it didn't really have much of an effect.
The picture is it just after I put it on, at first I thought it was going to be almost purple. In the end the results were not really worth showing :unsure

you need to do multiple layers let each layer sit for about 5 minutes each then wipe them down with a dry towel after a few layers you'll start to see result I did 7 layers I think on these

Wow, didn't realise it was that many layers needed. Thanks for letting me know, did you use the royal blue colour for yours?
Yeah I did my water was pretty dark too so you sound like you got enough dye in the cup did you use straight water? I made about a cup of water and about 2 tablespoons of alcohol mixed in with some dye until it was pretty dark

Haha, I would have done the same.
Just noticed you can get liquid Rit Dye in lighter blue colours, Wondering if that's better since its pre-mixed as well.
About double the price of the powder though.

That's all the blues they do, I feel like the evening blue would be a pretty solid match.

Someone posted something about acetone eats the yellow rubber. Maybe if done with care, this might actually be a plus for those of you doing this because it means it could actually penetrate the rubber and not just coat the surface. Maybe alcohol is not as severe as acetone? But maybe it still penetrates. Worth testing anyway.
