glasses they are looking awesome. I wish they were V2s given the amazing transformation you have made to them. I am loving the toe slim.

cavx this was the only picture I took lol all I did was separate the toe like normal then cut off the fabric right after where it's all seen together then I pelled out all the foam and the rubbery toebox material I cut everything out right up to where the tongue starts I even cut a little piece of this cardboard thing that was attached to the tongue off so that I had an even cut from side to side

WOW glasses. You have just made that look almost scary. I will have to look at it some more now and I am sure I will tackle this soon.

My Heel Cups are now touch dry and here is where they are for now.

I think they still need a 2nd (hopefully not a 3rd) coat.

cavx thanks I wanted to try something I could control better it let me get a more evenly spread look across both shoes if I wanted the aqua look from el tape would I buy green? The only aqua el tape I find looks blue and the blue el tape looks more aqua to me but the green looks most like what the mags have

I'm going to suggest that the colour of the light is actually CYAN which sits half way between GREEN and BLUE. In light, RED GREEN BLUE are primary colours and CYAN, YELLOW and MAGENTA are secondary colours. These secondary light colours are primary colours for pigments - hence printing often has the term CMYK where K is black.

Unfortunately, the manufacturers of this stuff tend to call it a variety of other names including GREEN, BLUE, BLUE/GREEN and AQUA so a bit of a crap shoot when shopping for this stuff.

Would this be considered cyan? cavx the seller says it's green

@glasses And that is the problem I mentioned right there. The colour you want is the middle one (CYAN) in my image and your EL does look like it is CYAN, yet they call it GREEN.

This might also be a good reference as well.

This bottom image clearly shows the difference between GREEN and CYAN, yet when looking at my shoes they can look more greenish pending the ambient light around them at the time. The problem with an light emitting device like LEDs and EL and even GITD is that they also light up the surroundings and sometimes the back ground has an impact on the way we perceive the colour.

I might end up just getting blue el I know it's supposed to be cyan but id rather have a nice light blue then think I'm getting the right color and end up with a greener el then I want

cavx it would cost 22 bucks to get enough el for the soles id rather not spend 44 and possibly waste half I want to put as little money into these shoes as possible cos if I hit that 230 mark I'll feel like an idiot for not just going ahead and getting a v2

I've also just had this problem, ordered some that looked very aqua but turns out they were more blue. I think it's cool as long as you're happy with the colour. Many of the RD photos seem to show varying colours, some very blue and some others more towards a green colour. The film shoe is very much that Cyan colour.

One of the things to look at is what colour they are when they aren't lit, as this will show through the sole/strap. So you don't want a sheet that is blue when unlit....or maybe you do?! I dunno, but I made sure the sheets were that kind of off white colour when they weren't lit up.
