@Mitas -On the switch, the metal connections or "prongs" I cut them in half, added heaps of solder to each side, then hot glued and heat shrinked the cables.
If you want(for more protection) you could tape the whole thing up as well.

It's the cable I plug into my ankle buckles to recharge the batteries when they run out of power like this (ignore the plug that's one of my old photos http://i.imgur.com/zfX9x74.jpg

I'm not sure how the post you quoted has anything to do with your question, but any spray paint and clear coat would do. It's not exposed, so it wouldn't get damaged.

After de soldering the LEDs from the v2 boards I used a thick acrylic paint as spray paint didnt cover the lettering very well and you could still see it but I'm sure if you had tip-ex kicking about that would work also

I think there is a misconception that there is a singular batch of V2's, and once they sell out everyone will be left waiting for a new batch or a V3.

Most of the online sellers are based in Fujian, which is where they are made. As long as the sellers are shifting them, the factory will have a cause to produce them.

I think there is the demand there to keep the V2 in production for quite some time.

Apparently my MAGS were attempted to be delivered today. Sad thing though is that there's no way anyone will be home at the time they try to deliver them. Any idea on what to do? :/
