normally aliexpress.

the differences are the v2 has nike swoosh and actual nike branding on the heel moulded.

the halloween ones have no branding, and the uppers are much shorter.

should the v2's swoosh be upgraded to markpoons swoosh? if so is that a difficult thing to accomplish from a man with no sewing skills? and is aliexpress a eBay store?

Am I late to the party? Anyone else seen this? I spoke with someone who said they had to order the shoe from Nike (2 week wait) then the shoes would be shipped to me.

It's a lot of scratch for an I don't know.

Id be willing to gamble 30-40$ on trying this. If someone wanted to elect to head up a purchase (Im new here so someone that's trusted in the forum, jedifyfe comes to mind) and we could get 20 to 25 people to pitch in.

I mean, we could order my size, or his size, if they do come in and are what they say they are Id be more than happy to give him the money back and everyone get refunded (or whoever could buy the shoes you get my point) and we would all know for sure one way or the other.

Wouldn't it be something if it was true? If we could all get together and possibly get a discount on 10 pair or more of these "authentic" shoes. I don't know about you guys, but Im most into the V2 almost 450 to 500$ as it is and they still will never be "right"

Just an idea, don't crucify me.

I was just just looking into this last night and yes you can. In fact the video I was watching showed an A23 battery and that's how it was built. The problem i see is that most of those coin cell batteries are only around 140 mah. And, if you hook 3 of these together you will only end up with a 9v battery capable of 140 mah and not a 9v 420 mah battery. You may be able to run them in series and parallel? But by the time you had enough batteries to get the mah desired, you'd probably end up with a battery cell larger than a 9v.
First the disclaimer::: Lithium batteries like your mentioned cr2025 single use coin batteries are harmless but messing around with certain chemistry types of lithium batteries can be dangerous, for example I once had a rechargeable Lithium Polymer (LiPo) battery explode then catch fire while I was charging it and you simply can't use water to put out the flames, it was my fault because I accidently was charging it at to high of a voltage. Basically my point is please please do your homework before you start adding these batteries together in series or parallel.
Adding batteries together in series adds the voltage together but keeps the same MAH. Adding batteries together in parallel keeps the same voltage but adds the MAH together. The way I explain it is, MAH is similar to gas in your cars gas tank. The more MAH you have the longer your device will work because you have more "gas in the tank".
To answer your question about running them in series and parallel.....What you can do is make one battery using 4 cr2025 cells that way you can increase the voltage to say 6V and increase the overall MAH. In this example 1 cell = 3V 150mah. 2 cells in series = 6V 150mah another 2 cells in series = 6V 150mah add them together in parallel you get 1 cell that's' 6V and 300mah. I hope this helps. If your already familiar with all of this I apologize and hope it helps someone else out in the future.

I emailed them and they said they would be ready to ship in november. I'm curious about the quality, since the video makes a big deal on the shortcomings of the V2. They said it would be Mag 2011 quality.

Absolutely not. I'm waiting to see them in someone's hands just like everyone else.

Not easy to pick up the sarcasm online ;-) plus ya'll don't really know me. I'm not on that often.

I asked them via live chat. They said that the shoes are on sale right now and that they are real. I'm still quite confused about the whole thing...

I do think we will be seeing a new version of the shoe here soon but I don't see it being quite as accurate as the RD. Wouldn't surprise me if it was just a V2 with el in the sole and a light up strap

Also, there are many videos on YouTube in which shady websites promote Nike MAGs. The funny thing is that they're using the same pair of 2011 MAGs in each video... the sites look similar too. They all have their servers in Russia or China and most of them have 'Yeezy' in their name. I wouldn't take the risk of ordering a pair.
Still, all this could mean that within a few months, we'll FINALLY have an accurate replica of the MAG.

@airair, you still have that comparison image you did on hand? That showed everything.

This is great info and what I didn't really think of was a fire risk.

If I was to do this, I'd use the same type.

I did see rechargeable coin batteries with what looked like soldered tabs on them. This is probably where I got the idea of series or parallel connections.

Based on what has been said above, a parallel connection (voltage remains at 3V, amps go up) would be best as the EL sheet wants higher amps to light it.

Hello, Im new to this forum. Im trying to get a pair of Air Mag (or Mags) replicas. Since I obviously can't afford the real ones… Should I buy a pair from AliExpress? if so who do you recommend? Thanks in advance!

this is the response I got:

"if you want the air mag , u need to preorder , then we will preorder from nike factory

and it will take another 2 weeks for shoes come here , once it come here ,we can send out the shoes

for the payment method , u can use western union to pay

you can pay through western union or money gram on line or agent with your card.

you can pay on www.westernunion.com
do “send money” and choose "pay in person", and then "pick up at agent/cash pay out"

also you can go to the western union locations and pay to us"

well there you go. I would say that confirms the scam. 1. Never use western union 2. There's absolutely no way they are getting these from an official Nike factory.
