Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

@davidjones888 this gentleman received the correct size sticker on his box. Why aren't all stickers correct? This seems like something simple.

10 was the actual number on my box, then they wrote over it in sharpie the actual size. So I guess...if you order a size 10 you wont get yours written in sharpie. I think the sizes are just one of those details that just isn't worth the trouble to them.

Didn't the earlier boxed have an 8 on them, then a sharpie number over that if it was different?

Alls I know is my size 8's just have the 8 of the sticker on them. Though my box does have a sharpie line on it as if someone went to write on it, then stopped before they got near the sticker.

So the 8 is printed. The picture I saw looked to have an 8 printed on it, then an 11 in pen over the top.

Well the shipping gods must be with me today, because as I was racing home to beat the DHL truck, I received a text saying they attempted the delivery but I wasn't home....only to discover the box sitting at my front door!

OK so here are some quick and dirty pics:

Initial review: ***** H. ****** these are awesome. Yeah there are a few tiny blemishes, but the shoes are super solid. I had some headaches with QC pics, but I'm glad it all worked out in the end. Soles are slightly yellow. But my box barely has any damage and the license plate is 100% scratch free.

Here's my timeline for these size 12s:
7/27 - Paid
8/3 - QC pics for pair 1 (which I rejected)
8/11 - QC pics for pair 2 (for some reason didn't include pics w/ lights on)
8/11 - 18 hours later, QC pics w/ lights on (but it was a different pair...)
8/14 - DHL notification that shoes had shipped
8/16 - Shoes delivered

Ok so what pair did they send you the ones that showed the lights on or off lol

LOL it ended up being the pair that I approved first, the ones with the lights off. Thank God the lights work. It was an adrenaline rush for sure, definitely a new high for me. I highly recommend it

Probably not worth the risk for the saving. At least David posts here and that means we have a degree of communication with the seller. Who are these other sellers and how do we know that won't be a fly by night operation that gone tomorrow?

7/26 paid
8/2 QC photos and rejected
8/9 told my order shipped and never got new QC was told sorry and shipping guys must have forgot.
8/11 asked for tracking and was told shoes didn't ship and I never approved first pair. when I showed the email that I rejected was told sorry and 2-5 days until new QC.
8/12 QC photos I approved
8/16 got tracking and shoes are still in Hong Kong no movement.

Wild ride so far. I will update in a few days on shipping. This is a longer process than my first pair. That pair only took 7 days to get from when I paid for them. I even rejected a QC photo pair.

Its not that they CANT make UV stable soles its that they WONT. The pros just don't outweigh the cons for them. UV stable soles are 100% possible, I wouldn't be wasting my time with all these molds if they weren't.

And on a side note Nike soles are actually pretty UV stable, as in they don't actually deteriorate and fall apart. Eventually they will... but they do turn yellow fairly quickly.

You did see my first ever clear sole post from 2 years ago? I found one of them in the garage just yesterday. It is still clear and still really flexible and it never had blue or anything added to it at the time. Prior to that, the very first attempt (failed because I didn't have a vacuum chamber at the time) was a glob of elastomer that was thrown into the garden in 2012 and found by my kid in 2014. Had not gone yellow.

Exactly. They could buy why should they? Take NIKE for example. They release a new shoe line every 6 months. And they would to think that people are buying new shoes often and maybe they even hope update their shoes with each new line.

With the exception of the NIKE MAG, how many other shoes with clear soles have they release as a "collectable"? None, I don't think so why would they bother?
