Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

Indeed it is, guess it just depends on which shoe people want theirs to look like....

Well given this the the RPF and our goal is to have screen accurate props, shouldn't we be aiming for the film shoe? These already have a clear sole, not the 2011 blue sole.

Actually the puffy collar is accurate to the movie. The less puffy look was a design choice only for the 2011 shoes.

Just wish they had the longer tongue.

the 2011 is actually a bit off in the soles too compared with 1989.
The made the 2011 soles more slanting on the sides for some reason and the heel on the 2011 version is fatter than the 1989 movie shoe.
The way the clear rubber joins the back of the shoe is also different on the 1989 movie shoe.
Also the toebox which is a sock.
Soft floppy collars and more wider Laces area.Softer Bigger and taller tongue too.
That's what we saw on screen and thats what I prefer!
But i'll still be getting this new pair to see what its about.

@airair, are you referring to the outrigger being more angled or something on the mid-sole?

To me, the out-soles of the movie shoe look like they were created to look soft and squashed out as though the weight of the person wearing them was too much load.
There is another shot of the FX shoe that looks like the base of the out-sole is just glued on giving it a very chunky look. Did anyone else notice the stitching on the top of the toe (vance) that holds the tongue?

The inner wave is still too smooth on these V3s as well. Just look how steep the front curve is on the bottom image. The 2011 shoes have this as well as the V1 and MP mid-sole soles, so I don't get why the Chinese can't get this right on two different evolutions of the same shoe.

The movie shoe had a sock toe and I get NIKE adding a toe box to the shoe to make it stand better for display. Personally, I'd like see these shoes being rolled out without a toe box. Since doing mine on the V2s, way more comfortable for long wears. I was in mine for almost 15 hours the other weekend. Like socks with soles.

Sure i can. What kind of measurements are you interested in?
The outsole and the insole Width and Lenght of these V3 and the Same on V2 and HCs so we could compare every Version of the shoe.
And if you can post more on your fitting feelings on every shoes that would be awesome ! :)

Okay guys, so apparently these are my US7's, received the photos on Wednesday but went straight to my junk so didn't notice. Looks promising so far although I can see a slight outline on both swooshes where they may not fit into the recesses quite 100% but we shall see. Looks promising otherwise.

I will do side by sides with my RD when they arrive.

and the front lip of the midsole on the 1989 shoe is more flat straight up.

It seems they changed many things on the 2011 shoe.

I emailed about how much bigger the shoe size was compared to all my other shoes. They said they can refund my money or if I chose to keep them, they would give me $30 off my next pair. I haven't decided what to do yet. If someone @ The RPF Party tomorrow wants to buy them, I'd be open to that (So I can buy 1 size smaller). I can't wear the ones I have now. I can always put them in my Display Case.

I didn't have any Customs fees.

Hello Han, then tips to buy a number below? I wear a 10 US, it is best if I buy a 9? I had the same your problem even with the V2's.

For myself, based off of the Mags I received. I would buy 1 size down. I'm hoping that the Size US10.5 Tag in the shoe was not ACCIDENTLY applied to a larger shoe to get them out the door. Because then, I'd be giving out wrong advice. There was another member that said his pair was also a bit bigger for his normal shoe size. I think we'd need more members that have received theirs to chime in & let's us know how their Mags fit. So far I've only read 1 other respond to the sizing.

I know the guy who wrote the review for the V3s on Reddit said that they fit true to size for him so that's really weird that yours are a full size too big. If you could take measurements like RVLF asked that would be great. I was thinking of getting a 10.5 but after what you said I'm gonna wait.

thought id let yall know I found a coupon code good for 15$, its not much but it something.

the code is "sneakerahead-dis" without quotes.

Not as yet, they were waiting for the sign off from the photos so hopefully anytime soon I will receive tracking info.

I was under the impression that the US7 were not ready as yet, so I'm hoping they haven't just slapped a 7 label on an 8 to get them out of the door. I won't be happy if that's the case, but we shall see!

Yeah hope they don't do that lol

How is it that you have pictures of size 7, but I'm told size 8 aren't even done yet?

I got a reply back yesterday after I asked on how long before a Us 7 is made
see below short and sweet !!

The website I ordered from. sneakerahead.co

I meant, was it David or one of the manufacturing staff? It was Rebecca who sent the email to me & as far as I know, she's directly linked to the manufacturing. I think David gets second-hand info from them, as he said I will hear from them when my order has been made, so not to worry.

I seem to get more helpful information from Martha than David but I have no idea who's is more accurate.

I don't think they're being made in batches at the moment, they're being made to order. That's what David has said. You order first, then they're made. So I'm guessing what they mean by 'a week' is that if you place your order for a 7, they will start making them & they will be ready in a week. Not that if you wait a week they will have 7's in stock for immediate dispatch. I may be mistaken, but this is what I have been led to believe.

Hey everyone,

Soo have we all came to a conclusion that these V3s are indeed legit? And also if Sneaker Ahead is a trustable source to get them from?

Thanks,
Nathaniel
