We are proud to announce to you that we now make the nike air mags! here is the picture album so you can determine yourself how good it is(the strap is not correct for now, but we already fixed it and will publish detail pics in our store in 24 hours, Size 11 and 12 will come out first.).

we work very hard on this because we want to make all of you customer on the subreddit very happy. price on these will be 629 usd. we will try to make lower, but labor and material is very expensive for us.

Either this is a troll, or the beginning of those V3s we were after.
The only bits that look a bit off to me are the puffy white leather tops, and the rear buckle not overlapping the sole. Good effort!! If these have EL soles, and either a) a battery that can do at LEAST 5 hours or b) a sole cutout allowing you to use your own 9 volters, then I'm in!

Extremely impressive. The main thing now is that they have PROPER EL sole lights, ideally in aqua. If they don't, they won't get interest here from all the V2 owners.
Even with the wrong EL, these are so much better than the V2s that won't matter much.

In all honesty, I don't care what colour it is, so long as it is EL and not crappy LEDs.

Absolutely. I cut out templates for a leather pair and laid them over the V2. It is such a better shape and about 1/2" taller too. The fact it sits right up and does not lean forward is one part that makes these so nice.

Judging by the pictures there wouldn't be anything to mod on them. Any modification would be impractical and would do more harm than good.

Sure. The toe seems to extend back to about half way through the first lace of the V2. Not a lot, but that little bit extra really changes the look of these shoes.
Mock Up of the upper using the NIKE MAG patterns from Sole Collector article "Hardest Shoe To Retro" made in 1.6mm polypropylene.
Lasts made from the toe section. These need to be filled and extended to the heel.
I then made a full set of templates of the uppers made out of 1mm polypropylene.
Then sorted the parts into groups - UPPER shell
UPPER - LINER
Tongue
Here is the template over the V2.
Not a lot in the height (maybe 1/2") but just a better over all shape.

Exactly, yet I have at least a dozen posts by people stating they can't wait to get these and start modding them. Mod what? If they really are going to give us the shoe in the photo, then all is said and done.
The only thing that would make sense to mod, and that is by a very very small margin, it would be the puffy collar. And that's only if you really want the 2011 look. Looking at the screen used pair they look pretty spot on. Or if you're a super stickler for the movie shoe, use your clear soles on these new shoes. If these are new midsoles closer to the RD then they would need to be modded a bit. But you would loose the clean look of these V3s.

On a side note, I was wondering if they will make the black version as well. They aren't really my style, but it would be cool if they existed.

What about the tongue? When I did mine, I extended the top part by about 15% or maybe 20%. In my revision, it 10~15% max and it should sit level with the top of the finger pull hole. The 2011 shoe has a short tongue and why the V2 has a short tongue.
As for clear soles for these, it would have to be a new part. I would not even bother trying to mod the V2 clear soles.

Yeah, i also thought the tongue on these could maybe do with a bit of an extension....also if its made of the same stuff as the V2s, i would prefer to change it for something a bit stiffer.
The only other thing is that the toe still looks a little bulgy, if they are anything like the V2s a little steam should remedy that.

I hope the tongue is the same material as the cuff and not that stretchy material of the V2.
I'd like to see a full on sock toe mod done to a pair of these.

Can't tell on the exact material from the pictures, but it does look quite thin whatever it is.
I'm getting pretty excited for these now, if they do reach the price of the V2s i'll be getting some for sure.

I don't think the price will ever get down to the price of the V2s. I'll probably get a set if under $500 but I seriously doubt that will happen if they have already said the price is about $620.
