Nike MAG replicas (V2 and V3 only)

They are parallel with each led having its own resistor. 3 wires, but you only really need two since 2 of them are 3.7v and then 1 ground.

So why do they need the 3rd wire? In parallel the wire can be split to go to as many connections as required. The lead in, only needs + and - wire.

having success with dying the sole, this is after 2 applications of a powder dye mixed in water and painted on then dried off with tissues.
i chose a light blue colour thinking i didnt want to make the soles really blue, just clearer.
right shoe dyed, left untouched

Looks like when I did mine.

One of the custom pairs I'm working on still have a few more things to do to it.

Toe box slim was very hard.

The SITH MAG :)

I like how you only coloured the base of the sole. Interesting.

I can see you have done something that seems to make the shoe sit more upright and the toe seems to have a slight hollow now. What did you do that was do hard? Can you explain that please?

Hard to explain but if u notice the Toe Box is a lot slimmer and was difficult getting it glued down like that basically had to do everything jedifyfe and you guys use to do with the v2s. These are actually running on the same 9v set up u guys use to do lol.

Wow, I guess these are the first to have a slimed toe box mod !

Could you detail how you did this ? By cutting the fabric and reglueing it ? Or steamed it ? Or unglue it and reglue it after trimed it ????
I've experimented with the HCs and the best results were by cutting along the edges, cleaning the inside of the sole with a dremel, and reglueing it back on.
But i 'm not sure I would do that with V3s... (btw, I think I'm going to send you your package this weekend, DM me on Insta for the details;) )

WOW, so you actually pulled this up? What heat source did you use to make that happen? Given these are more of a foam mid-sole than the rubber of the V2, I'm almost scared to put heat onto it. If there is a "safe" way to separate the glue, a sock toe would make these ******* rock!

here's a frankenstieny idea that just popped into my head to soften the glue without melting the outside (may or may not work) - find a hose that fits over the outlet of your wife's hair dryer, and run that down inside the shoe to the toebox to heat it from the inside out. (after taking out the grey insole)
Given that the glue is all bonding on the inside, makes sense?

How come you didn't use the existing wiring setup?

Look great these.
Did you dye the fabric and leather?

Not sure why I went with the 9v setup. I found it made all the lights bright so u can also see them in the daytime.
Yes I used dye on the fabric and soles then painted over it and used scratch proof sealer. As well as dyed the soles red.

I finally saw a pair of these in person at Emerald City Comic Con. They look good, but the guy didn't have them charged and lit up for some reason.
