NIKE MAG Knockoffs

I've attached some good closeup screen caps from when Marty first puts on the shoes. Right click + view image to see these full size. I will post some more later if I can find anything else.

Thanks for that. They appear to be 1:1 bitmapped images. Nice! :)

Coming up to a week past the last release date. Why do I expect another message telling us to wait another week?

Well, last I heard, it was a delay concerning the supposed "desgin tweaks" that were being applied to the shoes. Which really makes no sense.

I also just noticed that the back heel parts of the sole just below the heel cup on the 2011s are thinner than the 1989s.

They could....

Lower the toe

Lighten the grey of the sole

Add EL

Remove stitching from finger pull openings

I'd be suprised if we get anything other than what we've seen.

Has anyone preordered an extra set of the smallest size(US8=UK7=EU41), that theyd be willing to part with.
Figured Id ask here before a direct order from the site.

I don't know if this will help anyone out but here are my photos of what I believe to be the Screen-Used Nike MAGs from the 2011 MAG Event in Hollywood. I tried to get as much detail as possible as it was displayed behind glass.

Also, here are the rest of my photos from that event:

I have pre-ordered the V2's and am hoping for the best.

Cheers.

It was almost funny reading that article with the guy that had the $4000 dollar shoes made because in the early 1990s I also hacked up a pair of $180 pair NIKE high tops in the hope of modding them to look like the MAG. The result? Epic fail!

At the time there was an old guy who was a shoe/boot maker who would charge $500+ for a custom set of shoes and at the time, $500 was like crazy money for a pair of shoes. Of course now, I'd jump at the chance given I've spent more than that on my scratch building of these shoes.

Those original screen used shoes are in pretty good condition given their age and what they would have been exposed to during the shoot.

did the real nike mags fromt he orginal movie like the pic above acutly go into the water? and get wet?

Yeah...the picture shows that. It's not like they could have faked that with CGI in '89. What you see is generally what you get with movies of that era.
