NIKE MAG Knockoffs

There is nothing "dodgy" about that wholesaler or "not quite right".

The "something" not quite right is all you people pestering these wholesalers.

These wholesalers do not manufacture these replicas, the only sell them to the public. They won't have pictures until the factory that is making them gives them out, which like they have told you a hundred times will be "end of the month".

Its not rocket science to understand!

Exactly. No need to panic until there is a reason to. Just chill out everyone.

its not helping matters by some of you guys soiling your pants so quickly, when the shoes aren't even finished and haven't even left the factory yet.

Some of you have even paid for multiple pairs without even seeing the pictures yet, thus giving the wholesalers a rather in my opinion "justified" reason to jack up the prices for gullible people.

They have probably seen the amount of emails they have got, and then thought, ok, these people seem to be desperate, lets jack up the price, they will still pay it anyway, and a lot of you fell for it.

Get a grip people! don't go insane!

Yep. Like I said above, there have probably been dozens of people calling dozens of time about pics.

I was chatting with one of the girls there about my free gift and she mentioned the number of calls and enquiries they'd been receiving.

This thread has been very entertaining to read. I used to think I was the most impatient person on earth. I am glad to find out that I am not. I am going to wait until there are pictures, then I will order a pair or two. I really really really hope they are as accurate as possible.

lol I think its a waste of money to have real ones. You cant enjoy them like real shoes because when wearing them (if ever worn) theres always a tendency to hold back and not be casual with the shoes.

Your comment is flawed by it's very nature.
Is it a waste of money to have a Master Replicas Studio Scale falcon replica? I mean, you're not going to run around your yard with it playing Star Wars are you?
I have of course tried these on and walked in my house with them, but they are a display piece and I knew that going in.

There seams to be a LOT of people commenting like "do you regret buying your real Mags" or "I bet you're pissed now!" or "you're foolish for spending that when replicas are coming...."

These comments are of course coming about because of this thread and the prospect of replica Mags.
No one seams to want to entertain the idea that they will be nothing CLOSE to the quality of the real things.
You guys REALLY think these knockoffs are going to be just like the real deal and to me, that is pretty sad.
I'd LOVE to be proven wrong - that means I can buy a few pairs for cosplay, but no one has the authority to tell me I can't enjoy my REAL Nike Mags.

Oh Generalfrosty...That picture is a thing of beauty. If I had them I would display them and look at them at least 30 times a day. I am in love with those shoes. You are very lucky to be able to have a pair. And I agree with you..nobody should be able to tell you it's a waste of money. I only wish I could have a real pair.

Do I have the authority to tell you that you HAVE to enjoy your Legit Mags, GeneralFrosty? Because you should.

If I had the ability to, I'd buy a real pair of these babies over a knock off any day. Unfortunately, too much is in flux for me to comfortably separate myself from that much money, but more power to those who have the ability and/or means. The real shoes can never be replaced. The people who purchased them understand they are more than just foam and fabric, and THAT'S what that money buys.

$90 for a knock off might get you something that looks close (Maybe...we'll see) but it won't come with the same cachet that made the official Mags worth every penny.

These knockoffs might become a great supplement to owners of the real Mag, like a museum that keeps replicas of some of its works to save them from the full-time wear and tear of sun/air/etc these could make a great way for real Mag owners of having THE definitive pair for display and a pair that they can just walk around in.

Let's all just buy whatever products we want/can and enjoy being fans.

PS: GeneralFrosty, if I were you, those things would have long developed a grease stain on them from me caressing my face with them. Too far? :lol

What are you like 12 years old? Do you really think that 10 or 20 people ordering multiple pairs made a difference?

You do understand that there are TENS of THOUSANDS of people out that there that want these shoes and they probably only ordered single pairs. You should really be blaming all the people that want these shoes NOT a select few.

My opinion is that they would have raised the price no matter what, as longs as there were enough sales.

I'm glad I got my pairs so cheap. I can see these hitting the $250 mark easily.

Absolutely not.

If I could have afforded a pair, and minus the red colour, this is the kind of stain they'd have had on them after 3 days in my posession :lol

Having ordered multiple pairs of these mystery shoes i'm quite prepared to have people laugh at me if these do indeed turn out to be closer to the v1.

The thrill has been more than worth it:)

/\ I totally agree. To quote Ferris Bueller "If you have the means, I highly suggest picking one up...it's SO CHOICE"

"This is my ninth pair of v2's this week. It's getting pretty tough coming up with new excuses. If I go for ten i'll probably have to cough up another 100 bucks".

Love that movie.
