NIKE MAG Knockoffs

Last time i spoke to Shoebagsonsale a few days ago they said "the next few days"... but at the moment non of the site's are being very accurate unfortunately =/

I'll email them again and see if they have heard anymore.

thanks. I haven't heard anything from the site: Pickgoodshoes.com either. All they said last was "as soon as we start to send them out you'll receive a tracking number".... lol

How did that eBay seller get a hold of those sample Mags? Could those be a Chinese replica?

Samples leak out all the time through various means. (Inside sources, friends, sales, auctions, dumpsters) Knockoff makers would almost never take the time to make their item appear to be one of these items either, since the real market is in replicating the REAL merchandise.

The sample hats have been leaking out from Nike. So this isn't all that strange. I know I've even see a second set of sample Mags on eBay before too.

They are RD Mags, just pre-production RD Mags.

When I was at the NIKE EVENT I had a couple of chances to walk out with a few pair of MAG's. I didn't do it, obviously BUT it would have been EASY!

They were for sale at the NIKE EVENT?

No. The production company that designed the event rented some of my BTTF props. I attended the event on the first night and when I was there the next day to pick up my props, there wasn't anyone there and I was in a room with about 2-3 HUGE brown cardboard boxes FILLED with MAG's that they used for display.

I picked a few up and checked them out and I could have walked out with several pairs, but I have a conscience...DAMN IT! :cry

Damn...

I have a conscience too. But I honestly think I would have walked out with a few. You should have asked them
To pay you in mags for Renting your props lol!

This Chinese manufacturing company should have bought a pair of Mags to reverse engineer so they could actually do an accurate replica. What's 4 to 6 thousand dollars when you're probably getting tens of thousands?

making flawed versions of their shoes brings them more revenue than trying to get the actual pair, just look at all the people lined up to buy these since they were announced

if they do revision after this first batch in the future the same people will come back to bite if need be, sucks

I was actually the one who came up with the idea of creating the box and asked mrbathingape if he knew the dimensions on it. I am already working on it, which is one of the things I was saying that nobody else has done yet...guess the cat's out of the bag now.

Many people have though of creating the box before you signed up on this site. If I remember correctly SO2 actually did the box with his conversions.

I'm hoping these replicas look 1:1... but doubt it. That's why I'm planning on buying a pair from someone here.

That fact that he is working on making the box is all we need to know. Looking forward to his creation. *takes out wallet* I'm first in line, right?

At least they are trying to improve... android phones are cheaply made.

EDIT: Apple computers last longer than PCs... I've had my Black MacBook since 2007. Only thing I did was upgrade OS from Tiger to Snow Leopard. No viruses or hardware issues... not sure why you singled out Macs when PCs are the ones that are troublesome.

No point bringing a phone argument in but iphones are technically made far cheaper. You're just stupid enough to pay so much for one.

Back on topic, my bad for posting live link didn't know about that rule. Seems total bull**** rule though, anyone know the reason?

It's so people don't post live auctions of items that poeple here may be bidding on. That way other interested parties may now start bidding on that item but they would've never know about it before hand.

For instance, I was watching an MR Medal of Yavin that sold for only $140 but had I posted the auction here, it may have sold for double that. Who knows if the winning bidder was on of our own.

Simple.....Let's say you see a thing you really been looking for and it's DIRT CHEAP. Now you only need the auction to end to be able to get your item.....WELL someone post a link to that auction on a site where hundreds of people been looking for the same thing....
Can you guess what's gonna happen? The thing you might have gotten for 1 dollar end up going for 1000s.
The rule is here to stop members from starting a bidding war.

Is there a difference between matte black and satin black? I'm thinking of making a shoebox briefcase for my Mags in which finish looks better.
