Newbie Prop Collections? All members new & established welcome to post!!

I am always amazed by the diversity and quality of props represented by both new and old members here.
Even more amazing to me is the creative ways people have found to display their collections.

Hi! I don't have the largest collection, but let's look at them, shall we?

My two Sarah Conner photos. I swear there was an Instant version in one of the films. Either way, I made both. I made them by printing them at the local photo place, and aging them.

Like many of you, I love LOST. Lottery ticket from the Hurley action figure, whilst the others are from the official LOST auction .pdf brochure.

And if you like LOST, you'll recognise this.

I also collect artbooks. A lot of artbooks.

And...my latest replica...From Up!

View attachment 17896

As you can see, it's huge! And exactly replicated from an image on the artist's blog (and in the UP artbook for that matter.)

As you can see, I specialise in Paper Props. Which is why it's unfortunate that I can't access that forum until next year. Oh well.

All the pics of your prop-collections reminds me to show some impressions of mine as well. Hope you like them:

Hi there. Newbie here.

Though I love my collection and I'd love to post the whole matter here, I think it would be better to post a link and to invite you to visit it.
Only one of my lattest, Belloq's pocket watch as seen in Raiders.

Please, feel free to take a look at my museum clicking here.

Thank so much

Thanks, Orange Blend. From the research that I've seen, the watch itself is dead-on, if I'm not mistaken, (somebody here please correct me if I'm wrong), although the actual wristband is not screen-accurate. (It's just some cheap "close-enough" band I got off of another watch.) I lucked out on the ceramic kangaroo when I came across it at a local flea-market for $8.00. (That's what got me obsessed with tracking down the watch in the first place.) As far as the "ripeness" question,...let's just say that I'm not going to be "anal" about screen authenticity. :lol

GeneralFrosty - That Spiderman newspaper display is great. Did you make it yourself or buy it here? I'm going to have to get one of thos plus the BTTF ones once the paper forum becomes available.

I think I paid $125 to have these custom framed (which, apparently, custom framing is NOT cheap:lol)
I got it done at my local A.C.Moore art store. Very well made though. It came out exactly as I asked for - they did a fantastic job and worth every penny.

Man it's amazing what a really nice frame can do to further enhance paper props. Nice work. It looks great.:thumbsup

Don't have much, but here is my desk. I should post some close-ups some day. Missing in the picture is my homemade Gondor banner.

It's Adam's Middle Earth map, weathered the hell out of it with Tea and Coffee, and 40 year old seal wax, candle wax, and a lighter. Custom frame by my ex-father in law in Teak wood if I am correct. Really heavy.

In the Detolf on the left is a custom painted skull with a Magnoli Pirates Of The Caribbean bandana, and MR Pirate Beads, cheap hat and some feathers. Also some MR Trinkets. Below that is the Indy shelf, followed by my Tarantino shelf, and finaly my Hellboy shelf.

On the right is my promo directors chair from the flemish awart winning series 'The Emperor of Taste' (De Smaak van De Keyser)
