*LOVE LOVE LOVE* The Dr. Who stuff! Especially the TARDIS keys. I've never seen a collection like that. Did you make all of those or buy them?

I made the top row of keys from Yale key blanks i bought off of eBay. The second one from the top was made using screen stills from Spearhead From Space, Jon Pertwee's first episode as the Doctor. The ERA key was made from the same key they use in the modern series, and the brass key is one I blanked with a file then aged up with acid. the bottom row of keys were all purchased but the one on the far left is a customized one made from either aluminum or an aluminum/resin mix. I just filed it up and cleaned it to look nice. the rest are relatively unmodified. Only the last two of the bottom row are officially licensed replicas.

Awesome collections, I have a long ways to but I am trying not to droll too much looking at that prop goodness.

Oh snap.
I've only recently been able to start picking up stuff for a collection so mines a little sad compared to these.
Haha.
But eventually I hope to gain some epic items such as those.
I don't even have any good pics of my stuff yet, but when I get around to taking some pics I'll share with you. ;D

Here are some of mine that I have pictures of. Like a lot of members here, I don't have the room to display all my collection so a lot of it is in storage:cry

...and my Joker getup. Now I have more of a reason to unearth the other pieces in my collection. Just got to find the time!

I'll take that Han in Carbonite off your hands if you don't have room! That's awesome!

I have a few props, most of which I've made myself and most are Indiana Jones or Star Wars. Here's a pic of the Raiders Bible Page that I just finished. :)

Adam C. I really like your display case - I was looking for a good way to display all the misc. props I have. I have this tendency to want to create a whole section per movie, but the big case really gives you a chance to display an ecclectic array of iconic movie props.
If I were a guest at your house, I would certainly pull up a chair right in front of that case and stare to my heart's content!

Thanks GeneralFROSTY! My wife has been great about letting me keep my ''diverse'' collection in our living room, (until it finds a more permanent place in the home theater that we're hoping to build someday). For some reason it keeps getting delayed, what with our kids wanting to eat, and everything. :rolleyes

Thought it could do with an update. Had an ikea open up near so got a case and got to re arranging things to make it a lil bit more presentable.

Very nice! :love

Is that an Ikea case? If so, which one is it? The Detolf cases aren't deep enough to take the BSG Viper helmets.

Are the shelves fixed in this case, or adjustable?

Thanks in advance for any information you (or anyone else) can provide! :) :thumbsup

Thanks Temponaut :)

I actually bought that specifically because of that BSG helm (I took measurements with me to Ikea just to be sure :p). Its a Klingsbo cabinet, double the price of the Detolf case though. Hefty enough aswell in terms of weight! The shelves are only able to go at set levels but if you have a tall piece you could always leave one out. Plus has a lock aswell so handy to keep wandering hands away :p

Thanks for the info, kwalsh0000. :) :thumbsup

I'm off to check the inventory of the local Ikea... :p

GeneralFrosty - That Spiderman newspaper display is great. Did you make it yourself or buy it here? I'm going to have to get one of thos plus the BTTF ones once the paper forum becomes available.
