Well, I'm sure I posted some of my crap before but since this is an open thread I thought I'd post some things here that I may not have posted before.
WARNING: SOME OF THESE PICS ARE CRAP!
Anyway, here's my Evil Dead styled chainsaw I made with the help of 0nieros when I lived in Arizona:
I'm really rather proud of that one as the entire thing was brought down to bare metal and a lot of the casing was resculpted with JB Weld and then repainted and hand aged by me.
Hey, Speaking of Evil Dead, these next pictures are of the three different levels to my old Evil Dead display I made from a six foot tall book self. It was taken down for the long move to Massachusetts and needs to be put back up. I'll be using a black book shelf and some custom made fittings for the chainsaw:
The Necronomicon and Kandarian Dagger were made by someone here on the RPF however, It was done using 0nieros as the go-between because well, obviously I wasn't a member at the time.
For everyone curious about the Evil Dead Lego's I made, here's a close up picture:
I did the poster detail in MS Paint because I didn't have photoshop at the time :lol
Continuing on the Horror theme, here's my Freddy suit:
Hand knit sweater made by a lady i know. I aged it and it was resized a bit. It's still a little too long and the hat is black but it really works well.
How well? me in Freddy make-up:
Well enough I think.
Moving on to some Sci-Fi stuff we have an older model RB Replicas Tom Baker era sonic screwdriver:
I customized this a bit here and there and it is being displayed on the black powder coated stand Russ made, only it's sitting in a small box covered with little odds and ends.
I actually like to take pictures of my props more than display them, so here's the same RB Replicas sonic in a picture I made:
Just wanted to do something to show off the realism and the spirit of the show based around the props.
Here's a brass sonic screwdriver made for me by a guy that goes by the name Carthoris on Deviant Art:
It's one of my absolute favorite pieces. He made it for me for free and I am going to be sending him one of what is in the next picture.
My brass Steampunk styled Sonic Screwdriver ala Doctor Who:
Yes, i know what many of you are thinking "
it looks like a lightsaber!" yes yes yes, but at only five inches long it would be more like a light-butter knife really. I built it using brass plumbing fittings and it features internal electronics to run the light. No sound on this one but I am trying. My favorite feature is the emitter head which features a free moving nut that moves up and down the heavy thread on the neck for sonic field adjustments.
Adding to the doctor Who theme:
My collection of Tardis Keys. I made and modded all the top row keys. The bottom row keys only feature a few keys that I had modded, that being the first one on the far left which is made from either aluminum or an aluminum/resin mix but is still damned nice. I had modded the patterns on the front to be smooth and shiny and cleaned the edges up a lot and polished it out a bit. I added another Baker style key and replaced the McCoy era key with a much nicer one.
I have to say though that I don't have a lot of props on display since i need a prop room to do so in and even then most of my collection is taken up with action figures. How many? Well, these are just my Character Options figure:
This isn't even ALL my Co figures not to mention my Dapol Doctor Who collection my Transformers, Batman, Superman, Marvel, Horror, Anime, Star Wars, space ships, etc, etc...
