New to Prop Building: First Project, Rogue One Rebel Helmet

Hey all!

Sold my marketing business as I was fed up with it and have now, in my spare time, started to build props. Decided I wanted to do something different and I love movies and collect props so why not start building them!

Not only that, I have filmed the entire process and will launch this on YouTube this Thursday: Chris Makes Props - felt this was a good way to get feedback and show newbies like me how I did it (good and bad!).

Here are images of my first prop build of a Rogue One Rebel helmet.

For my first build I feel I did a good job, however love feedback as want to improve and learn techniques etc.

I’m doing K2SO next and a 1/6 scale Blade Runner Spinner. That’s the plan anyway. lol

If you have a 3D printer, I made a radio for the strap. I don’t promise accuracy, just basically used reference photos and threw together a bunch of shapes on Tinkercad.
