I finally got to use it today. I did one coat on Baby Groot. He's darker than in the pic. I'd like to do a wash but I'm afraid. 
New to airbishing. What do I need?

Looks good. A black wash may make the texture of the 'skin' pop to add more depth. Or you can leave it as is...up to you.

If you have a 3D printed surface like I see on the picture...I wouldn't do a black wash. It accentuate the 3d printed texture also...
