New The Punisher vest project (using various skulls)

So I'm making yet another Punisher costume. This time I'm taking one vest and making interchangeable skull panels. This will allow me to swap skulls yet keep the same vest. I also plan to add new accessories that I can swap out as well. I've ordered white armored gloves and I need to find a pair of white Dr Martens to customize. I also plan to add white gun holsters/pouches that I can swap out with the current black gear that I have.

I have started the work 3 skull panels.

First, Lewis LaRosa's

2nd is the Dirty Laundry skull

3rd is the Marco Checchetto skull (need to clean this one up a bit)

The last 2 panels will be the Jim Lee and Kenneth Rocafort skull designs

I hope to update this thread quite a bit as I acquire/finish pieces of the costume. Please feel free to chime in with any advice, critiques, etc

thanks for looking

Forgive the blurry pic but below is the white pair of armored gloves I ordered.

If anyone knows where I can pick up a used pair of 14 eyelet white Doc Martens, that'd be awesome. Size 11 preferred.

What does everyone think of the following belt pouches?

Just taped 2 of the skulls down to give you all a general idea of how it's all going to look. The panels won't have the flap running through it, it'll have a flat front. But you get the idea. I think the LaRosa skull needs more weathering. I like the 'Dirty Laundry" skull being a bright white

coolbeans man, I have a similar thing going with my different Punisher looks, except I have a different vest for Checchetto that I just chalked the skull onto.
What are the panels made out of and how are you attaching them to the vest? I made mine out of foam sheets and glued molle straps to the back.

Love The Punisher. My favorite comic character You already have a good Frank Castle look going, so that helps overall. I like the second and third skulls, but would like to see the costume with the art direction of the third.

Good work so far.

Thanks again, everyone. The skulls, other than the spray painted Checchetto skull, are made from marine-grade vinyl. I'm going to glue them down to black panels, made of the same black fabric that the vest is made of and attach them with Velcro or zippers.

Finally got around to finishing the Jim Lee and Kenneth Rocafort skulls. Surprisingly, I'm not a fan of the Lee skull on the vest. It could just need a little cleaning up....or maybe it's a bit too large?

I am digging the Rocafort skull, though. Smaller but it works in my opinion

Thoughts/opinions?

Pair of boots on the way:

Still taking suggestions for various versions of The Punsiehr skull.

May go with a Thunderbolts skull just to have the option to change the color scheme

Gloves are in. Just need to remove the fox logo. May make gauntlets or fatter wrist bands on the gloves. Also plan to make white combat suspenders similar to the ones below

I love the option for all the varieties of skull logos! They all look great!

I even love some of the weirder logos in Punisher's history.

Sponge on a little dirt, grime and add a few scratches, dings and scrapes and they will be ready for Punisher's never ending war.

Again, great idea!

Thanks, bud. That's a great group of skulls. Best part, I can just keep upgrading the skull panels as I feel like it. As for a clean Punisher, I agree, the dirtier, the better. I like my characters with a bit of the shine knocked off lol
