Supposedly we'll see a 1/5 statue as well, to go with the existing P1, P2 Elder, and Wolf.

Welp, here we go again. Time for Rob to put himself back into debt - because you know those pieces WILL NOT be cheap. That maquette looks great; and I'm glad to see them giving us more Predator 2 stuff.

I'm really curious about the origins of the helmet. Clearly, it's not a stunt, but looks like it 'might' be about the same size. The first thing I thought, was that it was a 'Hero' helmet.... but it really doesn't fit my expectations for the size of the helmet.

I'll definitely keep a close eye on this thread for more updates.

It looks like they have had a new one sculpted. It looks ever so slightly stretched and the top of the bio the raised part is further from the back. The bridge of the nose is different, more curves in it. Also is the placing of the dents, and so on... lol I'm really scrutinizing it seeing that the city hunter is my favourite pred and I know the ins and outs of him. As for the maquette, it looks like it will be one there legendary scale ones (just so they don't have to define what size it will be) which means it will prob be between the 500 to a grand mark which is not to bad for this piece think. It's gorgeous and me want's it!  :D

You can also go under the Sideshow upcoming products page and add them to your newsletter if you prefer.

Yep, definitely a new sculpt by looking at that development photo. Interesting. Hope they don't start plugging it as straight from the movie mould.

Thank you so much for posting these. The maquette looks great. The detail is awesome. That's an interesting take on the P2 bio as well. The redesigned tri-laser port is very very interesting. And I really like paint app on it as well.  (y)

I WAS... really stoked about this at first but know I have found out the maquette is only around the 1/4 scale mark so I'm not that bothered anymore. I want bigger damn it! lol. I would say the same size as the Cinemaquette or the Sideshow legendary Wolf is what I'm looking for.

Yeah I think you will find most statues being in the 1/4th-1/5th size and nothing bigger unless it is a special case such as "The Wolf"

Have to say I'd all but given up on SS but I really want this! I love it for the most part, few minor issues but I guess it isn't final yet. I just hope they send this to their best painters so production pieces don't totally stink... best being relative of course.

I'm very selective when it comes to SS stuff. Not a huge fan of the HT figures statues, busts, and props are very cool though. The bio not a huge fan of the sculpting on of course.

Yep. People on here have. I don't know why sideshow bothered with this seeing that HCG bought out the stunt. I think if you haven't got the hero then don't bother.

Wow!!!!!! how many guys working in sideshow (China), millions and millions....... This guys don't stop release every week figures, hot toys, bust, statues etc etc...
This maquette will be mine for sure, friend talk me about $ 1.199 release in the 4 quarter of 2014, also talk me about unmask version

Well time to start save money for this beast, this maquette be sold out fast....
