new robocop suit opinion *spoiler*

Are the turbine intakes in his toes functional, like a form of futuristic Odor Eater maybe?
This costume is seriously both pathetic and lazy on the studios part, and whomever is responsible for flicking through the rejected costume catalog, and going "that one" needs a swift slapping around the face and neck for being a simpleton.
The car on the other hand, well, they must have paid that guy at least a middle class wage to come up with that, so he gets a pass on the slapping.

the traditional silver armor actually gets placed over this at the end of the movie and replicates the 80's Robocop suit. In fact, all the other costumes use this as an undersuit.

Take that with a boulder of salt. I had drinks with someone from the distribution company in Tokyo the other day and i'm not sure if he was telling me a fact or just speculating.

Well, I like the idea that we get some variation first. Depends on how far into the movie he becomes Robocop.

So OCP got the suit via a Deagostini peacemeal, like, you get an undersuit with your first issue, then collect them all kids?

Willing to give it the benefit of a doubt...but I really wish it had been silver or gray. That's the part that stood out to me most. Hopefully this is a prototype suit and we see an upgrade in the movie.

Well, as I mentioned before there's talk that (and when I say talk I mean a slightly drunk employee of the distribution company told me:lol) that

the suit in those pictures is the undersuit that carries through the movie on top of which other suits are placed and that the 80's armor will be used in the movie's finale

Yeah, if that's true, not bad. I could live with that if it then carried over to any sequels.

They had one over here a few years ago that allowed you to buiuld your own robot that was controlled through a laptop. Wish I had bought that now.

That will really blow TBH, its Robocop, not, build and tweak as you go cop, crappy idea, as somebody already said, same suit, maybe a few light tweaks if somebody in design was justifying an overblown wage, and, just a new story......job well done.

Again, without seeing the final product there's no reason to think this will automatically blow. It could be great. One picture of the character in what is not even believed to be the final suit is not enough to go on.

If that suit were coloured just a little bit more like the original 80s suit I think there'd be far more people singing this movie's praise. I think the black (even if it were the only suit) looks pretty good.
