Limited Run New prototype run for Superman crystals, Payments due!
This particular design is being a ******* and a half. Please note, this isn't for the entire run of them, this is just the original 1 piece that is the official "make em all look like that" piece of the run.
I'm leaning on altering some measurements a bit (making it a little thicker), or a bit longer. Mainly, I'm about to make a copy of the design I like out of wood, and then send it to them.
The run is still going (everything's been paid, etc) but it's just a case of the material not being exactly work friendly to the specific look we want.
Will know more as it progresses, and will update as I find out stuff!

Too late to hop in on this run though. Everything's already been paid and finalized. I'll be doing another run later on that might be different from this design, since this is just the prototype being made. It's not from Returns though, it's off the Reeve movie's green crystal.
When I get the new stuff going, I'll drop you a line if you like.

This one in the last photo is the prototype for a green crystal version from the ultimate and very best Superman movies with the best Superman theme music, the Richard Donner helmed Christopher Reeve Superman.
I ordered and paid for extra, so you can have one of mine. PM me for my PP address.
The design is the green crystal from the first Superman movie, specifically the one that was up for auction a few years ago. This run is basically just a whole lotta people who decided they wanted a copy of the prototype as well, since I was ordering one.

Just to give a sitrep on what's up, they've snapped 4 prototypes so far, but they are confident that when they get my physical prototype in, they'll be able to make it.
If they CAN'T make it at all, then I am going to have them ship the prototype to the regular company I use, and we will get the run made there. They are willing to transfer the payment and all that jazz, and it'd save me about $40 in shipping fees sending another chunk of wood across the globe to what could be a factory 10 mins away from them (plus banking fees, international transfers are $$$).
Not exactly a MAJOR update but basically it all boils down to "I have to carve a few of these out of wood until I get it looking right, and then mail it to them so they can get it looking right".
Just keeping everyone up to date cause I know I'm jonesin' for my shiny and therefore I assume the rest of you guys are too.

Thanks for the update. If you end up using the regular company again, that would be fine with me, since every crystal I've gotten from you before has been perfect.
