New project "Celestra"--DONE--

I got this from a guy that had this on eBay .It looks like its pretty old may be made by him , And a decent job at that i would say it also from the original show . I'm updating it the the new version. The 1st thing i did was to take it apart and make the main body narrower . When I'm done it will make a nice addition to my fleet.

Well i started off by making it a little more proportional,took away some width. Than had to shorten the round bars in the front and back, and worked on the front lower opening because its a little different in shape.

Its coming along did some work on the bottom top and front Basic shape is there now to and some detail.

Got the bottom done today and started the top.

The celestra is all together now. I redid the underneath changed the top a little and moved the main piece back on the top back about 3/8" and I re did the nose so i could have a bigger opening in the front. Now for primmer.

The detail paint is coming along fine. some progress.

The only hard parts left are the antennas on the tower. The next pictures i post should be of it completed.

Its done complete with added antennas and i fixed the smaller tank at the end i noticed that it wasn't level in a past picture . As for the decal i bought a set for decals from JT decals for the 1/32 viper and they came in handy on this. Beauty shots to come .

My project is done. When i bought this it looked like it was supposed to be a celestra from the original show but it needed work. So i took it and cut it up added ,rearranged and reshaped it to make it look more like the Celestra from the new show here's how it came out.
