Hi everybody, :)

I would like to thank all the people interested in the project, and also to all the people that is "pushing" me, so it give me strenght to finish it. :$

As this is the first time that i do something like this, on every step that i give i learn something. Once i know what things have to be used for each kit i will be able to give a total price. Also, i still do not know if i should buy all the parts that i have bought myself from some manufacturers and include them in the kit (body, eyes, fur, ...), or if should just sell the parts that i make myself. :wacko :confused

It is not a cheap kit. Going for Fur makes it quite unique, but also more expensive. The fur, the body...probaby the most expensive parts... mines, the ones that i sculpted wil not be expensive, even though it took me a long time to make them.

With the kit, i will give some advices in order to make it easier to complete. ;)

I bought today real leather to start with the bandolier.... i will post more pics soon

Thanks :thumbsup

This is a good ref pic...

I have to reduce the nose size a little bit... and make the final lower and upper teeth. Both look very similar, but mine has the mouth more open....

Still working on it. I am trying to find a system that will allow Chewie to turn the head and move it up and down also. The body is also fully poseable... :D

Hello all,

I have had many people asking me how i glued the hair to the head. I learned it from a youtube video, where an specialist said thta he was using "Liquitex" Matte Gel (medium). It works great !!!

Hi ! :)

Working on the bandolier. Making the boxes and and the molds for them. Now in August i will have more time to finish it. :wacko

Doing hair is an artform. Look up doll hair single strand attachment if you ever want to lose you mind. One at a time is amazing but takes the patience of a... something patient. I used to take museum exhibit classes at a museum that had a 12 foot tall megalonyx jeffersonii. It was covered with cow tails! Long story short the hair can make or break a pice like this. Remember that scale of fiber and hair will effect the look. Soft, natural hairs are a great way to go. This wookie looks very cool. I can't wait to see the finished piece. Well, I can wait but I am excited.
