New member, new acquisition - BR Blaster

Hi.

I just wanted to share the most recent addition to my collection, a Tomenosuke Blade Runner 2049 blaster. I'd been after one for several years, but living in the UK, I didn't want to chance issues with customs / importation, so decided to wait it out until one came up for sale locally.

It was built up from kit form and then modified with the (in my opinion) obligatory weathering, and a full steel barrel and cylinder. With the exception of a little more polishing to the trigger guard, a removal of an excess spot of bluing beneath the "A" in Austria, and a more accurate binding post (if I manage to find one), it's complete. It might look a little shiny in the pics because I'd just used gun oil on it. The next thing on the agenda is a suitable display stand. Anyway, comments / feedback welcomed:))

Thanks for the comments:) Can anyone recommend a suitable display case / stand? I saw one online a few weeks back; illuminated and with what I think were Ennis tiles around the base, but I've lost the link.

Congrats on getting your blaster, looks great! Watchout, one can lead to many others....lol. Have you put any thoughts on how you want to display it?

I forgot to ask previously, what's the best method to secure the battery compartment cover? Although not loose to the point of falling off, it has a bit of a rattle. I was thinking of attaching a thin plastic shim to the interior edge, but would appreciate some expert opinions. Thanks.
