New Medic-Trooper

Hello, now that my Captain Rex - Rebels is finished, I'm going to make a new costume.

The medic trooper. He's really hip now and many want to build the costume.

So I first got myself a Rubies Collectors helmet. Look at the photos. I first used foam for the bracers.. very soft. But I still had foam boards at home. So I cut these out. It's slowly progressing and I think that many already have a complete costume. But I would like to show you with few means, with little money, how it can be done differently. So stay tuned. For the Empire!

Some more Updates and Pictures...

I think we should pay more attention to the fact that this trooper has a lot to do with dirt, blood and many other things.. the costume shouldn't look like it's off the shelf. I'll try to be as realistic as possible. After all, nobody stays clean when they're on the job and looks like they've just been bought.

I feel like the only issue with some of the designs is the trouser legs are over the boots. That just doesn't seem Star Wars. They'd have shin guards and knee pads, seeing as how they're scrabbling around crouched for a lot of the time. MAybe even have one oversized arm/leg armour to offer extra protection on one side while taking fire?

Thats a good question. I also think that maybe knee pads or the kind of rubber boots would be appropriate if the pants are in the boots.

Update long time ago... its finished but i need some more Prop Stuff. This Weekend is the first time i go on a troop with it.. look at the eyes... at the photoshoop there was a thin folie? on the eyes... now i have Lens from opleprops in green. i will post more photos from the upcoming troop.
