New Hasbro Toy Lightsabers

Anybody wall mounting their Lightsabers vertically? What mounting hardware are you using? All the threads I've found are really old and the mounting hardware mentioned are either sold out or no longer exist.

Thinkgeek used to sell one. Here's another website selling the exact same stand... http://www.saber-stand.com/ Also, there's one on ebay right now. Just got to use a search engine man. I found all that out in less than 10 seconds.

Did you even read what I said? I did search myself and like a said, most of the stuff I found was out of date. Is Saber-Stand still in business? You don't know that. Thanks for the tip but there's no reason to be an ass about it.

Do you need a hug? I think you need a hug. *hugs MClass*

See NOW I'm being an ass but only because you accused me of being one.

If I were going to be an ass I would like to be a *******. No, not the tv show version but a real one. They are hard workers as long as they want to and very stubborn. Qualities I admire.

I'm looking to mount my ANH Luke Removable Blade and a few others I've recently acquired. I've started by acquiring some white coated plastic clips from the UK. Do a search on eBay for Pipe Clip OPEN Super Type Terry UK MADE To Grip Sizes 5 MM To 125 MM BUY 2 To 25

I'm looking at various solutions for resting the bottom of the blades though it is possible the 2 inch version of the clips above could also work.

I ordered my Black series Luke directly from Hasbro here: http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com/en/htsusa/-b3922as00 and used this 10% off online coupon (10HTSDISC) from here: https://www.coupons.com/coupon-code...&ccti=6521e360390645eb95b347573ae46c12&lbox=1 and got it delivered to my door in exactly 1 week for $145 and change. No sales tax and no jacked up presale or resale prices to deal with. I will be posting pics and a comparison video with an actual Graflex ANH Luke very soon.

Sweet! Thanks for the link and promo code. Be sure to get the sounds as much as possible in the video. Still wondering if there is any difference from the MR "Jedi" board.

For those not aware, Disney Store released another one of their FX toy lightsabers (much like the Ultimate FX line) on 18 DEC.

DO NOT CLICK IS YOU HAVE NOT SEEN TFA AND TRYING TO AVOID SPOILERS:

Rey's Lightsaber - Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Unfortunately they seemed to have used the details of Anakin's Revenge of the Sith hilt. I am very surprised as Disney has been pretty good about detailing and not cutting corners on their items.

it should be the same. Right?

Way to spoil it for everyone who hasn't seen the movie. :facepalm

To answer your question (without spoiling it for other people)...

Star Wars universe wise.. yes, the same lightsaber. However the one in Revenge of the Sith was made from scratch utilizing design elements for the A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back hilts made from Graflex flash guns . However as a result, there were a lot of distinctive design elements that sets apart the Revenge of the Sith hilt from those used in A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and The Force Awakens.

Hey Guys,

Luke is up on Amazon, these are going to be the hardest of the FXs to come by...

Actually, I just left a Barnes and Noble that had one (and two Yodas) in stock. Although, if the box art is true to the product, it's even less accurate than the initial MR release. While the shoulders under the red button and eye are no longer separate from the main tube, the emitter looks too short and doesn't even line up with the ears.

There are some, or at least one, really good and affordable Graflex replicas if you want accurate. Or keep your eye on eBay and save your pennies for a real Graflex and make your own.

Actually, I believe the Disney stores at one point had a Luke saber that was just a repackaged Anakin ROTS Ultimate FX. It seems they aren't too particular about representing Graflex based sabers.

hey gang, i just posted this in another thread

i posted about 3 weeks ago me finding 2 Luke FX sabers at barns and nobel. i did not know this until today but a few hours ago my girlfriend informed me she was on a christmas mission to get me the BS FX luke for my xmas gift. when she went back to barns and nobles the very next day the only saber left was yoga's. she has looked all over the internet and she couldn't find one in stock. again she doesn't know all the fan boy sites that are out there she just hit up target. walmart, toys r us, sites like that

this past weekend i had to work and again she was out hitting up all the local walmarts, targets, toyrus even a few newbury comics. (i didnt have a clue about this at the time) just a few hours ago she let the cat out of the bag and said she has been looking but with no help... she asked if any of my "replica friends" had an idea where to buy one?

so to make a long story thats kinda off topic short, any idea where we could order a Luke saber? any ideas is greatly appreciated
