New Hasbro Toy Lightsabers

There are pics of the vader and yoda with their new stands but yeah, toys only really started leaking last week.

There are two kylo sabers coming out, that is the toy one, there will be a fx one as well, no pics yet, but inventories are showing it for sept 4th

Hard to imagine Hasbro going back to the fixed blade design after the success and expense of developing removable blade versions. All they would have to do is reissue the Luke, Yoda and Vader. Though the new stand doesn't seem to be made to display the saber with the blade removed (which would be a step back in my opinion). Can't figure out what the big notch on the end of the stand is for.


Hasbro needs to do something to capitalize on the demand though. Even the old fixed blade Force FXs have skyrocketed in price in the last 6 months. I'd like to get another Luke ANH to convert to Luxeon but at around $200 I'll wait for the prices to go down.

thats what I'm trying to figure out, the stand looks like its made to hold a fix blade saber. with the blade removed idk how well it will sit on the stand. BUT if you look closely it also looks like the clear part is hinged at the bottom, and the center of the hinge piece (now upside down in the picture) has little recess maybe for the saber to cradle in?

either way if Lukes comes fixed blade or not, I'm grabbing it. if vaders is removable ill snag that too! so excited for these

excellent picture!! now with this it gives me a whole new outlook. i thought there was a black base piece and the clear plastic hinged off that! come to find out there is no black base piece! i like it! hopefully the blades are removable
 
I need a Luke ANH lightsaber. I sooo very much hope the blades are removable. If they are, God help me, I'll be all over it like stink on a monkey!
