Not a bad choice. Probably got some recent interest due to its appearance in BoBF. I wonder how it compares in size with the MR static replica. I alway like a lightsaber that look proportional when the blade is inserted.
I am not a fan of the kyber crystal feature. For those that don't know, they are not meant to stay in the hilt. You have to remove the blade, shove the crystal in the chamber into the hilt, and it temporarily charges the crystal so it glows for a short time. You can see how it works here at the 4:20 mark...
1 foot less of LED string and tubing construction material isn’t really much of a price factor. The product design/ assembly/ packaging/ and machining of the base hilt and logistics is the brunt of the price.According to the website that leaked the announcement it'll be $280 just like the others. I agree it should be cheaper considering the blade is a foot shorter than normal.

Not really trying to be contradictory just mentioning that 1 foot of blade is pennies at that scale so I can see why they didn’t bother reducing the price. Would’ve been a nice gesture though.
It would be nice if the Yoda is all new tooling and not based on the old MR version. The MR was about 30% bigger than the actual prop.

This is pure speculation but I think it will be an improvement but not as small as the static MR replica.
Yup, its $250. No shot of a model holding it so still no idea of size.

Oh nice, surprised it actually is cheaper. Proportionally it looks about the same size as the original Black Series release. It's already the smallest of all Force FX hilts. Normally they're too oversized so I'm not sure how much smaller they can make this and fit all the electronics.

Kanan’s won the last fan vote so it might be one. I wouldn’t be surprised if the did a new Cal since it’s just a new pommel. I would also expect a revised set of curved Ahsoka hilts since they discontinued the original ones And her show will be coming soon but I would expect those closer to the premiere date. Always interested with what they come out with because they sometimes tend to do designs that Hasbro probably wouldn’t do.

I think the new Cal legacy saber was exclusive with the new game preorder pack. My best guess would be the Kanan as well as Yoda. Since the new Hasbro Yoda is up for preorder, the legacy equivalents usually are not too far behind.

The collector’s edition game with hilt is limited but I have not read anything about the hilt itself being exclusive. Even Galaxy’s Edge have done limited edition hilts that are combined in a special box or combination of other hilts but them later or prior have sold the hilts on their own. I would not be surprised if you see the same hilt offered by Disney but repackaged differently.

The news around May 4 is still rare but Shop Disney is starting to teaser the arrival of a new LEGACY Collection lightsaber in limited edition.
And of course DISNEY surf on the news by teasing the arrival of Cal Kestis' new sword from Star Wars Jedi Survivor double blade version. But there is a strong bet that as in the game, the sword divides into 2 to form two separate swords.

I checked out the website when they dropped, I passed as I wasn’t interested in dropping $400. Just didn’t hit me right.
If anyone is interested, BBTS has a sale today only on the Black Series Leia and Rey lightsaber. The Leia did not get reviewed very well but I can tell you from my own experience that I love the Rey lightsaber. Even bought a second one for my daughter last Christmas.
