I agree, it does look better. I think the coloring of the neck alone is an improvement.
If I had my way, I would have made it so the pommel could be adjusted to wear as seen post ROTJ. I would have also offered a separate static emitter section with holes so it could reflect its sequel appearances. This way it could represent its multiple appearances. But for some reason, they did not ask me.

That's why I have a Roman Props V4 Gen 1. The perfect idealized Luke saber.
Another Disney lightsaber box set. Weird they left the warning stickers on for the beauty shots.

Someone did a review of the Black Series Obi Series Lightsaber. I think he will also be doing a Legacy comparison video soon.
The Luke FX hero looks like a modified scan of the current Hero… oddly captured some little- recreated geometry! From the neck up looks very accurate on the static section but they’ve Removed damage And simply widened everything else to accept the blade base electronics.
I’d think the idealized rings are enough to satisfy sequel fans and fans of the Disney+ series’… considering they abandoned the uneven rings I imagine that was their goal.

For almost $300.00 that Kenobi saber should have a thin neck and a neo pixel blade.

At least it is sort of hidden (I use that term loosely). It is much worse on the Legacy Rey scavenger hilt.
The Kylo saber is $159 on ShopDisney, I paid $259 for that exact saber 2 years ago from The Line Jumper.
