New Galactica Basestar

The lighting on this thing is absolutely amazing. I think, as you have pointed out Rel, it definitely adds a level of depth to the entire ship. It definitely adds a sense of realism when the lights are different intensities...

The paint job looks top notch - IMO no one paints these panel lines better than you. All the layers that you have to put on the ship, and your ability to blend them all together to look realistic is phenomenal.

Plus - look at all of them! :eek you must have been sitting there drilling holes all day and all night. I apologize if I have caused you any sight loss in this project. :wacko

screw a christmas tree - I'm putting presents under THIS puppy. :lol

As Jason stated, the stencil work on the panel lines, AMAZING...ive seen you do this effect so many times Rich, and it always looks flawless, the lighting too...makes it look ten feet long......wonderful piece to look at!

Wow Richard thats really kool. Great work as usual.:thumbsup

Jase,
You're absolutely right that this is more of REL's usual topnotch work but what really puts this one over the top is the lighting and paint. It never ceases to amaze me how this one man can account for all facets of whatever needs to be done and doing it all to the highest standards! And this time, again, all applied against a kit that I'm quite sure I could have, would have, made look simply mundane.:thumbsup

Should I admire him or hate him?
I'll be polite and give him my admiration!:lol

All finished.

That's too beautiful for words to describe! Also I'm blown away by your other works on the homepage.

I especially loved the scratchbuild Enterprise-E!

Hehehe the first words out of my mouth when I saw that first lit picture.. "Good God!"

Superb work once again REL!
