Somebody at imgur pointed out that the jacket might be a better clue, but I'm not sure what they're talking about other than it's red... like a Rose.

In regards to the shirt, I think it's just an indication that her destiny is intertwined with the Doctor's, that it was always meant to be that way.

The jacket is tartan, In the peter cushing Dr who's Susan wore a tartan dress, thats the only link i can think of with the jacket. Although the Dr did have a male companion called Jamie who wore a kilt.

As best as I can remember, everytime we've seen Clara, she's been wearing red.

I've even seen one rather far fetched explanation of how Rose was/is actually Susan, but it relies too much on non canon sources for my comfort. But supposedly, Susan was a Time Lord/Lady whose name was actually Arkityor, the High Gallifreyan word for Rose.

I'm pretty sure that red is a signature accent colour for Clara. But I really wouldn't read much else into it.

The Great Intelligence returns and tries to drain the 2nd Doctor's mind with technology, Robot yeti run around grabbing people.

The 11th Doctor has to stop this World Wide Web of Fear.


...and

The 2nd Doctor Jamie and Victoria land at a Research base covered in ice.
The scientists have found a creature fozen in a block of Ice and it gets thawed out. Ice Warrior takes Victoria hostage and tries to take over or destroy the earth. Doctor has to stop a nuclear explosion.


The 11th Doctor and Clara land on a Russian sub, under the ice.
The scientist has found a creature fozen in a block of Ice and it gets thawed out. Ice Warrior takes Clara hostage and tries to destroy the earth. Doctor has to stop a nuclear disaster.


It's no wonder people say they see so much of the Second Doctor in Matt Smith.

I hope you mean Clara in that spoiler text, or there are some really unsettling implications for Rose's relationship with the Doctor given that theory.

No, I meant the person named. I should also point out that the evidence presented for that particular theory pointed out that she wasn't what she was presented as being. I should also point out that the person who put that forward was going on evidence that was dodgy at best. Lots of speculation and a lot of it from non canon sources.

Eh, we'll see how it plays out.

I think they have to be very careful with this if they do reveal the Doctor's name to the audience (which I'm not sure if I want or not).

Dug this latest episode. Hope between this and next week the TARDIS will warm up to Clara.

The show would have to have a completely different title if they did. Expect Silver Nemesis style revelations.

The show would have to have a completely different title if they did. Expect Silver Nemesis style revelations.

What I'm expecting right now is that the episode will revolve around Fields of Trenzalore but instead of someone asking "Doctor Who?" like the Silence were wetting their pants over the Doctor will ask what the deal with Clara is.
