View attachment 471820View attachment 471821Hi, This is what I am working on. a Hasbro Legacy 31" heavily Modified. I modified one of the Hasbro 28" and have been working on this one.
I used a Deagostini cockpit and redid a lot of the armor plating. Thinned it out to 1" and lots of cutting.

.Well, it's begun. It's been a while since I've done any models like this but it's just begging to be made great
I've signed up for the resin upgrade kit parts from Mike/Tony so I thought today would be a good day to start my conversion beginning with notches and planning.
I don't think I'll be doing a complete overhaul like some of the others being posted but I want to do the "Fastest Hunk Of Junk In The Galaxy" some justice. But a couple questions for those that have started.
Looks like bumper adhesion/primer is the way to go for painting, but what are you guys using to fill the mold injection points/gaps accidental gauges. What glue is best for attaching greeblies & panels.
Also is there a guide/ template anywhere for the missing panels?
thanks for everyone's help
.
Adhesion promoter, yes. My understanding is that once you've got a coat of that down, you can just use regular CA to adhere stuff to it. I haven't seen, but am HOPING that also means you can just use squadron putty on the holes and mold points. Panels - yes, look way, way back in this very thread. Sized for printing on standard hobby-shop sheets of styrene, and I had great success running them through my inkjet right onto plastic. Welcome to the madness!
I just stuck my stickers onto a sheet of thin styrene and cut them out with scissors and then peeled the sticker off sgain for instant panels ..
That's exactly what I intend to do! makes more sense that way... althou you do gotta notch them cause my stickers weren't notched, were yours?
